🎤✨ Last week, Matty G’s had a special visit from Stian Macshane (finalist on Britain’s Got Talent) who amazed students with his incredible rap skills and passion for literacy.
MacShane shared his story of growing up with a brain that worked differently and often faster than others. His message was a powerful reminder that our differences don’t define our limits, they can become our greatest strengths.
By embracing what made him unique and working hard to develop his talents, MacShane has turned his passion into a career that has taken him around the world.

POV: It’s week 9 of an 11 week term… Tired staff. Tired students. Carrying each other to the finish line 😴💪
Today, three of our Year 6 students and Leadership attended the Archbishop’s LifeLink Day. The event was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the 800th Anniversary of St Francis of Assisi and celebrate the incredible work of the LifeLink agencies that support people in need throughout our community.
We are proud to share that our school video was selected and showcased at the event, highlighting the many ways Matty G supports LifeLink. From our Socks and Crocs fundraiser, to the Year 4 Charity Garden (a huge thank you to Mr Rafferty and the Year 4 Team), and the meaningful learning taking place in our classrooms about our Catholic mission; the video captured the spirit of service that exists throughout our school.
A special thank you to Miss Watt for once again sharing her creativity and talents to bring our story to life. Well done to everyone involved! 💙💛
