🥣 Soup, buns and a chance to help shape the future of Happy Wanderers!

Join us this Friday, 7th August at 7:00pm for our AGM & Soup and Bun Night.

The AGM is a great opportunity to hear what’s been happening at the club, have your say, and help plan for the year ahead. If you’ve ever thought about getting a little more involved, we’d love to welcome a few new active committee members. Many hands make light work, and fresh ideas are always welcome.

Oh… and did we mention there’s soup and fresh buns? 😄

A huge congratulations to our newest Happy Wanderers graduates – Ali, Christine, Lorraine, Debbie and Jonathan! 🎉

Last night was a special one as we celebrated the end of your beginners journey and welcomed you into Mainstream. It takes commitment (and the occasional head scratch over a tricky call!), but you made it.

It was great to see so many members there to help celebrate the occasion and cheer our graduates on. Now the real fun begins… we’ll see you out on the Mainstream floor! 💃🕺

Congratulations again, everyone – we’re proud to have you as part of the Happy Wanderers family. 💙

Well… this post has taken a little longer to arrive than planned! We figured we’d let the chocolate settle first… 🍫😉

What a fantastic night celebrating Happy Wanderers’ 53rd Birthday – Life by Chocolate! It was great to see so many people getting into the spirit of the theme, enjoying the dancing, the chocolate treats, and catching up with friends.

The night was made even more special as we recognised Tom and Beth with Life Membership. They have been part of Happy Wanderers for many, many years, and their contribution to the club goes far beyond Friday nights. If you’ve danced with us, chances are you’ve been welcomed at the door by Tom and Beth, who have faithfully looked after the front desk week after week for years. Their dedication, friendly smiles, and willingness to help wherever needed have been a huge part of what makes Happy Wanderers such a welcoming club. We couldn’t think of two more deserving recipients.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the evening such a sweet success. 🍫

Just a reminder that this Friday we’re celebrating 53 sweet years of Happy Wanderers with our Life by Chocolate Birthday Dance!

There’ll be dancing, chocolate, more chocolate… and probably a few calories danced off before we eat some more chocolate. 😄

🎩⚡ Posh & Punk Night ⚡🎩

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and got into the spirit of our Posh & Punk Night!

The outfits were fantastic, although one trend quickly emerged — nearly all the ladies chose punk, while most of the gentlemen arrived looking ready for a black-tie gala. 😄

It made for a great contrast on the dance floor and some fantastic photos throughout the night.

There’s been a little posh and punk AI fun with a few of the photos. Most turned out pretty well, although the AI occasionally got a little too enthusiastic and started redecorating things that didn’t need redecorating. That’s punk rock for you — rules were clearly optional! 🤘

Thanks again to everyone for making it such a fun and memorable night.

Just a reminder that there will be no regular Happy Wanderers club night this Friday as we join dancers from across Perth for the Blue Sapphire Trail-In Dance.

Happy Wanderers is proud to be one of the three host clubs, alongside Swan Valley Squares and Kiwilers Square Dance Club, for this special event leading into the WA State Convention.

What a fantastic morning at our Breakfast in the Park! ☀️🥓
