Hervey Bay Yoga Polly and Vera continue to teach under The Hervey Bay School of Yoga business name which has been operating since November 2013. They teach 5 week courses on Tuesdays 9.30 am, Wednesday evenings 5.

Established in 2013, The Hervey Bay School of Yoga has cultivated a steady and sincere community devoted to the study and practice of YOGA. Senior Level 3 Iyengar teacher Polly and Level 1 teacher Vera gave the school’s foundations of clarity, rigour, and a long standing commitment to peace and harmony. Their teaching created not only a place of practice, but a community of people willing to inquire, learn, and support one another through the shared path of YOGA.
Polly and Vera now continue their teaching through Woodgate Beach Yoga, where they hold weekly classes and immersive retreats in the paradise environment of Woodgate. Polly still teaches at Hervey Bay Yoga every Friday and Saturday, and Vera returns twice a year to lead intensive programs.
From November 2026, Troy, who has always actively supported the community, and offered leadership with the student body, will assume the role of Business owner and lead teacher . He carries forward the same lineage of study and contemplative practice, ensuring the school remains a place where all willing participants can deepen their understanding, refine their practice, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of YOGA in Hervey Bay.

Need more energy or just ready to work out a bit of stress and tension. These classes will be perfect. Twice a week for 5 weeks for 2 yoga classes per week. Tuesday and Thursday nights 6.00 - 7.30pm. Also an option of booking for one class per week.

Yoga wakes us up to what we really want. Have fun, get healthy and find meaning as you stretch out your stiffness. Classical hatha yoga is a meditation practice. Book in for 2 classes per week for $6.60 per class. Term commences 16 April. Classes are on Wednesday morning at 9.30 - 11.00am and Saturday 7.00- 8.30am.
