Why We Are Sharing Fewer Photos on Storypark
At our centre, we love sharing your child's learning journey with you. Photos help make children's learning visible, celebrate achievements, and strengthen connections between home and our learning community.
As part of our commitment to children's privacy, wellbeing and safety, we are taking a more intentional approach to the photos we share.
What is changing?
Storypark posts will now include fewer photos, with a focus on capturing meaningful moments rather than documenting every activity. Each post is limited to 10 images.
Why are we making this change?
🌱 Protecting children's digital footprint
Every image shared online becomes part of a child's digital history. We want to be thoughtful about how and when children's images are captured and shared.
🔒 Supporting privacy and safety
Children have a right to privacy, dignity and respectful representation. By sharing fewer images, we reduce unnecessary collection and sharing of children's photographs.
❤️ Being present with children
This approach allows educators to spend more time engaging with children, building relationships, supporting learning, and participating in meaningful experiences.
📚 Focusing on learning, not quantity
Rather than taking photos of every activity, we will focus on significant moments that highlight children's thinking, development, relationships, creativity and growth.

You may notice fewer photos within Storypark posts, but the quality and meaning behind our documentation will be stronger than ever.
