🌹 Meet Carla - Our Recruitment & Training Officer! 🌹
We’re so excited to welcome Carla Coates to the Rose Life Care team!
Carla brings a huge amount of heart and experience, having worked in the aged care industry for 30 years (and counting!). Her journey started back as a General Service Officer working across kitchen, laundry and cleaning and it was there her love for caring began. Since then, she’s become an Assistant in Nursing, an Enrolled Nurse, and has worked across hospital wards including Medical, Surgical, ED, Cardiac and Mental Health. But her passion always brought her back to aged care.
Carla has spent the past several years dedicated to education and training in aged care and First Aid, with a special focus on Dementia care, something she’s deeply passionate about sharing from both a personal and professional perspective.
She’s also a proud mum to 8 children, 9 grandchildren, and two dogs (Leo and Bella), and somehow still finds time to garden, create beautiful floral arrangements, and even officiate weddings as a Marriage Celebrant!
We feel lucky to have Carla’s warmth, wisdom, and wicked sense of humour on board. Give her a warm welcome and keep an eye out for upcoming training sessions and workshops!
