Bayside Kids - Outside School Hours Care

With the old playground gone, we have plenty of space for a lovely new nature play area, which is coming along very nicely!

We love to hear all the kids' ideas for what we should put there.

To name a few:
- A giant tree house that connects between the trees
- Wooden log seating
- Bird house santuary
- Underground tunnels

Keep your eyes peeled for this space because it's going to be great!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Meet Mr Ted

Role: Chief Comfort Officer
Favourite Snack: Anything with honey, though usually he's pretty stuffed
Management Style: He's very paws-on

Mr Ted has been a beary helpful addition to our team. He always brings a paws-itive attitude to the shift. He can be a little fuzzy in the before his morning coffee, though. The kids have been loving having him around. It really makes those early morning starts a little less un-bear-able.

Give him a high-5 next time you see him. He loves those.

🌟 What a whirlwind! Our Vacation Care Recap 🌟

We’ve just wrapped up another incredible holiday period here at Bayside Kids OSHC! From Nerf wars to costume making, the children have shown so much creativity and team spirit.

Highlights of the holidays included:

Box car build day: The kids absolutely loved cutting out their cardboard boxes. Forming, taping, and painting them into vehicles of all shapes and sizes and then racing them around the track!

Ball drop kit: We saw some amazing skills during our ball drop day, where each child got to make and paint their own ball drop machine.

Queens Park Excursion: Taking advantage of the weather at Maryborough Queens Park, we had a fantastic time exploring all the memorials and adventuring through the giant mangrove tree.

Meet Miss Grace!

Grace is a core part of our Bayside Kids team. She has a huge heart for young people. She is a bright and joyful person to be around, and she loves to serve afternoon tea!
You might also recognise her as the person who runs the kids club on Friday nights.
