Hi all and happy easter.

Brendan McDonald from Xavier is organising the ANZAC day liturgy at the school and is wanting to update the list of current and passed serving students.

If you are/have been or know of an alum who is/has been can you please provide your/their name for the list to be updated.

You are invited to join us for a prayer service to celebrate the life of Xavier Catholic College foundation staff member, Mary Morrissey on Saturday 12th March at 10:00am at Xavier Catholic College. Please RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday 10th March to indicate if you plan on attending.

Carmel Donnelly has asked me to share that tomorrows 8am mass at St Joseph’s Parish in Hervey Bay will be dedicated to Mary Morrissey and her family.

Today is a very sad day as we find out the news of the passing of Mary Morrissey. Mary was a foundation staff member of Xavier and not only a teacher, but friend to many. She was also the driving force in establishing the Xavier alumni.

Funeral details will be shared once they are known for those wanting to attend.

Feel free to share any memories, which I am sure there are many, of Mary.

Do you know of any Xavier graduates who have joined the armed services over the past couple of years? We are updating our own records and would appreciate this information! It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our Piano Tutor Ken Martindale. Ken has been a member of the Xavier community for nearly 10 years and his sudden passing on New Years Day came as a shock to many. We pray for Ken's family and friends during this difficult time.

Welcome the 2020 Alumni

Congratulations to our Year 12 class of 2020. At Xavier we pride ourselves on setting students up in individualised pathways and are very proud of our graduates for the effort they have put in to achieve their goals. Yesterday, ATARs were released in Queensland and our cohort results were outstanding. A special mention to our two students who achieved ATARs of 99 and above which is exceptional. Brianna Skyring achieved a 99.25 and Isabella McMahon achieved a 99.00. Well done Bree and Ella. We wish all of our students the very best for the next stage of their lives.
