Financial homework for a four-year-old?🤷🏽‍♀️
This is one of the stories from my very first experience of PKP kinesiology — and part of what made me so curious about what kinesiology could uncover.
Come and experience it for yourself at the KSA Kinesiology Road Trip in Hervey Bay on Sunday 13 September.

Wonderful to see one of our graduates building her practice in Darwin. One of the joys of teaching is watching students take what they've learned and shape it into something uniquely their own. Wishing Sophia every success with Soulfusion Therapies as she continues her kinesiology journey. đź’śhttps://www.facebook.com/soulfusiontherapies

A glimpse into one of the experiential learning activities from Block 1 face-to-face practical intensive.

During this workshop, students explored how everyday biochemical stressors — including coffee, alcohol, medications and environmental substances — may influence muscle monitoring outcomes.

These practical experiences often become powerful moments of insight as students begin observing the relationship between stress, body chemistry, neurological responses and adaptation in real time.

Learning kinesiology is not just theoretical.
It is experiential, observational and deeply fascinating.

Our next Block 1 intake begins June 12.

A recent client came to me completely overwhelmed by life. ADHD, exhausted, constantly on edge.

She was sceptical. Honestly, many people are when they first experience kinesiology.

As we followed the process, we ended up working with an early memory — a little girl growing up in a highly volatile environment, never really feeling safe.

Then something unexpected emerged. Her body flagged a possible nutritional stress pattern connected to that same period of life — including zinc deficiency.

So now we’re looking at a nervous system under constant stress… without the support it may have needed to regulate well.

Make of that what you will.

We worked with the memory, supported the nervous system, and gave her body a different reference point — steadiness, support, nourishment.

No dramatic breakthrough moment.
No instant transformation.

But over the following weeks, she noticed something had shifted.

Life felt different.
Calmer.
Less reactive.

At one point she caught herself thinking:
“Who is this woman… and what have you done with my body?”

Six weeks later, her daughter said:
“Mum… maybe it’s time you go back and get some more woo.”

—

This is the kind of work I’ll be sharing in my small in-person workshop on May 30.

Not about blind belief.
Not about pretending life becomes perfect.

Just practical ways to understand stress, body awareness, nervous system patterns, and what can begin to shift when the system feels safe enough to change.

If you’re curious — even slightly sceptical — you’re probably exactly who this workshop is for.

Today I enjoyed lunch with three Kinesiology Schools Australia graduates — catching up on life, clinic work, business, and the different directions their kinesiology journeys have taken over the years.
One graduate has recently published her own book, another has returned to continue her Diploma studies, and all three are continuing to grow in their own unique ways within the profession.
I think kinesiology training often unfolds over time, with people returning when the timing, life experience, and alignment feel right.
After more than two decades with KSA — first as a student myself, and now as trainer and director — moments like this remind me that learning doesn’t just create practitioners. It creates lasting professional relationships, shared history, and community.
