Congratulations to Chiara and Monique for their participation in SHEP Sunshine Coast Concert Band last weekend.

This was a particularly strong concert and workshop within the Griffith Conservatorium State Honours Ensemble Program and these girls represented the Fraser Coast beautifully as clarinetists.

Great to see students returning this week after 3 weeks break and more students to return with school next week.

Congratulations to all of the year 12s who graduated this week!

Particularly those who have been a part of my music education family;
Lara, Jasmine, Toivo, Libby, Kemi and Teesha.

I have had tears this week and know there are more to tears to come in coming weeks/months as most of these students move on to the next chapter of study and career opportunities outside of Hervey Bay.

Every one of you are unique but equally amazing both musically and as new adults. I cannot wait to see and hear of your next chapter adventures. You are all going to be great!!!...

... And you ARE all going to come back and visit me.

Well done to 12 & under woodwind soloists Samitha and Harrison. 1st and 3rd place for their beautiful performances. Proud of you both.
