🎨 Mosaic Clay Art ✌️

Today our little artists explored mosaic clay art, using their hands to mould, press and arrange different pieces of coloured pasta to create their own unique designs.

This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, fine motor development, concentration and self-expression, while giving children the opportunity to explore texture, shape and pattern.

🌈 Parachute Fun with Friends! 🌈
Teamwork, movement and connection!

Our children worked together to lift, pull and move the parachute, building coordination, cooperation and confidence while enjoying lots of laughter with their peers. 💙💚💛❤️

Through shared experiences like these, children develop a strong sense of belonging, collaboration and community.

🎨 Exploring Textures & Colours! 🖌️

Today we explored a world of colour and texture as we mixed paint and glue with sand to create a unique, bumpy sensory experience.

The children chose colours, experimented with paintbrushes and paddle pop sticks, and enjoyed spreading their creations across the paper.
Through this hands-on experience, we encouraged creativity, sensory exploration and fine motor development while celebrating each child’s individual choices. 👏

🍦 Mathematical Art! 🎨

Our Guruman - Kindergarten Children combined their emergent interest of Ice cream, creativity and early numeracy to manipulate resources to create their very own ice cream artworks! 🖼️

Using cotton balls, we verbalised how many scoops we wanted,then dotted on the paint counting each scoop together. 🔢🍦

Through playful learning, educators extended children’s mathematical thinking using open-ended questions, interactions and feedback. ⁉️

Such a simple experience that allows little fingers to share their creativity by using their hands to create, experiment and express themselves making unique markings!🖐️

🎨 Mixing Colours & Creating Magic! 🪄

Today the children explored the wonderful world of colour through hands-on painting and colour mixing.
Watching colours blend, change and create something new encouraged curiosity, creativity and experimentation. 🖌️

Through this sensory learning experience, children developed their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creative expression, while building confidence as they made their own discoveries.🫟

🍃 Leafy Loose Parts Play 🍃

Sometimes the simplest materials inspire the biggest imaginations! 🧠🧐

Our children explored loose parts play using natural leafy materials, creating, arranging and experimenting with what they could make.
Through open-ended play, they developed creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving and confidence while connecting with nature. 🍃

A wonderful example of how simple materials can become something extraordinary! 💚

Exploring the wonderful world of imaginative play, taking on the roles of mums, dads and caregivers.

🌸 Flower Ice Sensory Play 🌸

Discovering STEM concepts through hands-on sensory play, using their senses to explore textures, temperatures, colours and movement.

As the ice melted and changed, children experimented with touching, scooping, moving and investigating, supporting curiosity.

Draw, Cut and Paste! ✍️✂️ 📋

Today Our Guruman -Kindergarten children had the opportunity to participate in an intentional teaching moment via a drawing, cutting and pasting experience.

This intentional teaching experience with Miss Belinda supported exploring creativity while developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and independence.
