Our little cooks have been busy making their own pizzas and snacks!

These hands-on experiences give children the opportunity to learn through doing, make their own choices and feel proud of what they create!

Along the way, they are developing fine motor skills, independence, confidence, communication and healthy eating awareness while practising important food-preparation skills. 🥕🍅🧀

We loved seeing their concentration, creativity and their proud little smiles!💛

🫧🫧 Bubble breathing combined with bubble art is a wonderful way to help kids learn self-regulation in a playful and memorable way. It also fosters creativity, patience, emotional awareness, and mindfulness. 🫧🫧

Today Our Guruman - Kindergarten children have been enthusiastically engaging in a ‘listen and draw’ intentional teaching activity with Miss Belinda. 👧🏼 👩🏻‍🏫👦🏼

This activity requires children to listen carefully, concentrate, filter out distractions, remember what the adult has said, process the directions in their minds, and then put those instructions into practice on paper.

Benefits include but not limited to:

Today at Milestones Early Learning Torquay, our little wizards had a magical time creating colourful potions! 🧙‍♀️

From stirring vibrant purple mixtures to exploring with fun tools, the children enjoyed every moment of their potion-making adventure whilst sparking their imagination, encouraging curiosity, and watching their creativity brew! 💜

This activity supports their development in line with the EYLF Learning Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners - engaging in hands-on experiences that promote curiosity and problem-solving. 🧪

Educators and children proudly wore denim to show their support and awareness for Children's Medical Research whilst participating in age-appropriate and child-led learning. 🩺
