Numbers were down a little with the weather being overcast and gloomy. It held out however and our Cadets did their part for Clean Up Australia Day, removing 4 bags of various rubbish from the surrounds of the airport. Great work from everyone and such a worthwhile cause.

The Hervey Bay RSL Sub Branch held another successful Anzac Day ceremony at Hervey Bay's Freedom Park. Today the Cadets and Officers were proud to march along with returned service men and women, emergency services personnel and other community organisations and schools from across our great city. The new terracing works were completed just in time and the whole park looked fantastic. Well done to all who came along and ensured that we continue to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
