Kindy excursion to Under 8’s Day TOMORROW.
Dear Kindy families, a friendly reminder to be in service by 8am tomorrow to allow time to prepare for our first bus trip of the year. Remember to wear covered shoes and comfortable, sun safe clothes and bring your hats and drink bottles.

👨🏻‍🔬 Little Scientists 👩🏻‍🔬

With great excitement our Senior Kindy children helped Miss Bobbie build a big volcano in the sandpit, we then added bicarb soda and vinegar and watched as the volcano fizzed, bubbled and erupted before their eyes! With wonder, laughter and predictions the children explored cause and effect through hands on science experiments. 🌋 🧬

🍊 Our Mandarin Tree Harvest 🍊

The last few weeks if you have walked through our hallway, you will have seen the abundance of mandarin fruit ripe for the picking! Our Toddlers, Junior Kindy and Senior Kindy children have carefully picked the mandarins being careful not to pick the green ones, explored their orange colour, texture and smell and then enjoyed tasting them.

This experience sparked conversations about where our food comes from and what other fruits, vegetables and herbs we grow within our service and what seasons of year they will fruit. 👀Stay tuned to see what other fruits and vegetables we have ripening!

🧸 If you went down to the woods on Wednesday, you were sure of a big surprise! 🧸

On Wednesday, the children arrived excited to share their cuddly companions with their educators and peers, fostering a sense of belonging, friendship and connection.

Together, we enjoyed a picnic morning tea, sang songs, shared stories, participated in meaningful experiences and created wonderful memories of our Teddy Bears Picnic. 🌳

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone – 8 years of dedication, loyalty, love, and care at Bay Explorers!

Over the years, Miss Jess has worked across many roles within our service, always stepping up with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting children, families, and our team.

Eight years is a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of Miss Jess's commitment to the Bay Explorers community!

7 years of celebrating Miss Jas!!! Over her time with us, Miss Jas has worked at both services, nurturing some of our smallest people! Thank you Miss Jas for pouring your heart into our children’s future, your knowledge, dedication and passion are priceless!!
