With Book Week just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to find some wonderful new books for your home library while supporting our centre. 🌟

Want to donate a book?
Families are also welcome to purchase a book from the Book Fair as a donation to our collection. Every book helps us grow our library! 📖

Phoenix Cups PD ✨

On Tuesday evening, our educators had the pleasure of participating in an engaging and uplifting Educator Wellbeing workshop facilitated by Chris Phoenix from The Phoenix Cups. 🌿

Through interactive games, meaningful demonstrations, and plenty of laughter, Chris encouraged us to think more clearly, feel happier, stay motivated, and strengthen the positive relationships within our team. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, have fun, and reflect on the importance of filling not only our own cups, but the cups of those around us too. ☕️

Through the Phoenix Cups quiz, each team member discovered their dominant "cup" and explored what it looks like when their cup is full, empty, or overflowing. We reflected on how these different cups influence our behaviours, shape the way we communicate, and help us better understand and support one another. 🧠

A huge thank you to Chris for such an inspiring, insightful, and cup-filling evening! 🫶

Jeans for Genes Day 👖

Today, the children and educators at Torquay Kids ELC proudly wore their favourite denim to support Jeans for Genes Australia. Together, we’re helping raise awareness for children's genetic research. 🧬

Every pair of jeans worn today represents hope for a brighter future. Every gene matters, and every donation makes a difference. 💙

National Pyjama Day at Torquay Kids Early Learning Centre! 💤

Today, our educators and children wore their favourite pyjamas in support of National Pyjama Day.

By taking part, we're helping raise awareness for children living in foster care and supporting their hopes and dreams through this wonderful initiative. 💙✨
