Come along and support our drama tutor Noah as he plays Horton the Elephant in The League Studios production of “Seussical”. A musical perfect for the whole family, taking you into the world of Dr. Seuss, where beloved characters are revisited including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and JoJo.

There will be two performances tomorrow at 5pm and 7:30pm at The Brolga Theatre.

And just like that, holidays are over and and we’re excited to start a new term of Drama.

In term 2 we focused on analysing and performing scripts. This term we are very excited to be learning a range of physical theatre techniques - telling stories without words.

Our Little Legends class is almost full so if you’d like to sign up or go on a waiting list for term 4, please reach out as soon as possible. We still have a few places available in our Shining Stars class (years 5-8) if you’d like to join us for term 3.

A couple weeks ago we held our first week of drama classes. Students learnt about the fundamentals of drama, and how to create a short impromptu scene. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!

A little about our tutor…

As a recent assistant tutor for Macabre Theatre Company, Noah is now beginning his own journey into teaching.

Noah brings much experience, having trained extensively in Singing and Acting for almost 10 years. He currently works with SIX The Musical alumni Chelsea Dawson, Australia’s songbird Mirusia Louwerse, and Legend House International Robert Clark. He has also trained in Musical Theatre and Acting with NIDA Open, Queensland Theatre Company, La Boite Theatre, director Grant Brown and locally Macabre Theatre Company. His experience includes working on the upcoming feature film Fing! alongside Taika Waititi, a feature film teaser (TBA), and many community musicals both locally and in Brisbane.

Noah holds a current working with children blue card and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge with a younger generation of artists.
