UPDATE 🤍

As some of you are aware, last month I stepped into a new role in the child safety space. Alongside this, I’m currently completing my studies, which also require me to undertake vocational placement.

At this stage, the combination of work, study and placement doesn’t leave me with much space in between.... and after a lot of reflection, I’ve made the decision to place my business on pause for now... I'm not sure how long this will be for but I do know that right now, it's the right thing.

This has not been an easy decision.

This work is more to me than just a business. It’s something I’ve poured my heart, lived experience, healing and purpose into. It’s been a space of deep connection, growth, and courage for me and for so many of you.

I want to be clear that this is not a goodbye.

It’s simply a pause. A season of focus, learning and grounding, so that when I return, I can do so with integrity, presence and the capacity this work deserves.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, trusted, shown up and walked alongside me through this chapter. Your messages, stories and shared moments have meant more than I can put into words.

For now, I’m honouring what this season is asking of me, and trusting that what’s meant to continue, will.

All my love,
Jess 🤍

People can tell you who they are a hundred different ways…
But how they show up will always reveal the truth.

Anyone can talk a big game.
Anyone can promise change, say the right things, make you feel hopeful.
But chatter doesn’t build trust.
Words don’t prove value, morals or integrity.

Behaviour does.

Pay attention to the people who follow through.
The ones whose consistency matches their intentions.
The ones who choose respect without needing applause.
The ones who make you feel safe because their actions never confuse you.

And pay attention when someone’s behaviour doesn’t align with their words... it's that misalignment that is the message.

This isn’t about judgment.
It’s about protecting your energy.
It’s about recognising your worth.
It’s about remembering you deserve people who show up with honesty, integrity and accountability - not just empty promises.

Let actions guide you.
Let patterns teach you.
And let your heart trust what it sees, not just what it hears.

All my love,
Jess 🤍

So many of us were raised carrying emotional loads, responsibilities, and unspoken expectations that were never meant for our shoulders… yet we wore them anyway.
Because we were the “strong one.”
The “easy child.”
The "peacekeeper".
The one who learned early on to manage everyone else’s feelings before our own.

And then we hit adulthood and wonder why we’re exhausted.
Why our nervous system feels frayed.
Why we feel disconnected from who we are beneath all the survival patterns.
Why our bodies whisper “enough” when our mind still tries to push through.

In our sessions, I don’t force clarity onto you, I simply guide you back to your own knowing.
You’ll often hear me ask questions that land in the micro moments, the ones that soften you, challenge you, or help you see the pattern you’ve lived in without even realising.

We talk about the things you’ve been carrying for decades.
The parts of you that still feel like that overwhelmed teenager or that unsure little girl.
The beliefs you picked up before you even had language for them....

And we started to untangle them, slowly, safely and with compassion.
We reconnect you to your body…
your intuition…
your boundaries…
And your actual needs (not the ones you learned to perform along the way).

And piece by piece, you start to step into a life that feels like yours again, not the one that was shaped by pressure, guilt, or survival.

My 1:1 mentoring sessions are open.
All of you is welcome, you’re safe here.
You are enough, always 🤍

When your mind starts spiralling into everything you “should” be doing… stop for a moment and gently ask yourself “What actually matters right now?”

Your nervous system doesn’t need pressure.
It needs clarity.
One task.
One breath.
One moment at a time.

Give yourself permission to choose simplicity.
It’s so much more powerful than you think.

🤍

Let's talk boundaries!!

After years of lacking them, or hating them, I have come to learn that boundaries, are absolutely necessary and go way beyond the surface.

What does the word "boundary" mean to you?
What happens in your body when you hear or think about boundaries?

✨ NEW PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT – SAFE TO PLAY ✨
Shine Bright Foundation is proud to launch a first-of-its-kind initiative for the Wide Bay.

💜 SAFE TO PLAY – Building DV-Safe Sporting Communities 💜

Domestic and family violence is impacting families everywhere — including on our sidelines, at weekend games, and during the activities our children love most. Too many families tell us they feel unsafe at sport due to intimidation, DVO breaches, conflict, or uncertainty around attendance boundaries.

🚫 Children missing out on sport because home isn’t safe shouldn’t be happening.
💜 That’s why we’re doing something about it.

💡 What is Safe to Play?

Safe to Play is a groundbreaking pilot program designed to help children from families impacted by domestic and family violence safely access local community sport — while working directly with clubs to create DV-safe, trauma-informed sporting environments.

Through this initiative we will:
✔ Support children with fees, uniforms, equipment & wellbeing support
✔ Help clubs understand attendance boundaries, DVO considerations & risk management
✔ Build safer, more inclusive club cultures
✔ Deliver DV-awareness, trauma-informed training & HALT education
✔ Create the region’s first DV-Safe Club Accreditation Framework

🤝 Our Partners

We are honoured to be partnering with:
⚖️ Richardson Murray Family Law – Legal Support & Policy Development
💛 Small Steps 4 Hannah – HALT Education for children & families
And
Shine Bright Mental Health Pty Ltd to deliver the clinical support to our clubs

This collaboration strengthens our capacity to support families and clubs with industry-leading DV-informed practice.

🔥 Limited Opportunity for Local Clubs

We are opening 5 exclusive places for sporting clubs across the Wide Bay region to join this pilot and become the first accredited DV-Safe Clubs in Queensland.

This is your chance to be part of real, community-driven change.

🌟 Let’s Create Safer Sporting Communities — Together

Join us as we reshape how community sport supports families experiencing domestic and family violence. Every child deserves to feel safe, included, and free to participate in the activities they love.

Our Mindful Healing Circles are designed to help you slow down, release what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive, heart-led environment.

Through mindfulness, meditation, and gentle reflection, you’re guided to come home to your body, your breath, and your truth surrounded by women walking the same path of healing and self-discovery.

Every circle is a little different, guided by the energy of the group and the intention for that month.
A typical gathering includes:
- Grounding meditation to calm the mind and connect you to the present moment.
- Guided reflection or journaling with gentle prompts to explore what’s shifting within you.
-Themed discussion or sharing meaningful conversation around self-love, boundaries, letting go, or inner growth.
-Collective healing & connection - community, support, and heartfelt energy shared in circle.

You’re never required to speak or share - you’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable for you.
