Today has been filled with laughter, smiles, friendship and precious little moments. Wishing our birthday star a beautiful year ahead filled with happiness, love and lots of adventures! 🤍

At TG’s, some of the biggest moments begin with the smallest steps.

That is TG’s Way, where Trust gives children the confidence to try, take responsibility and discover, “I can do this!”

It might be pouring their own drink, packing away independently, helping a friend or mastering something they once found difficult. When that milestone happens, the pride on a child’s face is shared by their Educators and families too.

TG’s Educators intentionally support children to try for themselves, offering encouragement when needed and celebrating the confidence that grows with every achievement.

These moments build independence, agency, resilience and self-belief. Families see that confidence continue at home, then into Big School and, ultimately, life.

This is Playing is Learning for Life. The joy of achievement starts at TG’s, but what children learn about themselves can last a lifetime.

During Science Week, our Boaties had lots of fun exploring primary colours! 🌈🔬
We investigated what happens when we mix colours together. Using jars of coloured water, we carefully added red, blue and yellow and watched as new colours appeared. The children were excited to make predictions, observe the changes and talk about what they could see.
“Look! What colour did we create ?” “Look, purple!”were some of the excited discoveries we heard as the colours mixed together.

Through this hands-on experience, our Boaties explored Outcome 4 – Children are confident and involved learners, as they investigated, experimented, made predictions and shared their ideas. 🩵

It was a wonderful way to learn about science through curiosity, play and discovery! 🌈 🧪

Let’s explore letters!✨

Our Middle Rock children had fun discovering laminated letters hidden in jelly and ice! This sensory experience supported their cognitive development, letter recognition and early literacy skills.

Many children recognised the first letter of their own name, while others connected letters to sounds and words they know from our phonics song.

For example: Q is for Question — Q-Q-Question! ❓

Learning through play makes discovering letters fun, meaningful and engaging! 💕🔤

Today our boaties explored colours through a playdough ice cream experience. They used different coloured playdough to create their own pretend ice creams while building on their colour recognition and developing their fine motor skills through hands on play. 🍦🌈

🌟This experience supported EYLF Outcome 4 – Children are confident and involved learners, as the children explored, experimented and used their creativity to extend their learning through play. 🌟

At TG's, independence doesn't happen all at once. It grows one small achievement at a time.

Whether it's putting on their own hat, pouring a drink, caring for classroom resources, or helping a friend, these seemingly small moments build much more than practical skills.

• increasing resilience when challenges arise

Families often tell us they're delighted to hear, "I can do it myself!" Those moments are more than milestones—they're signs of children developing the confidence and independence they'll carry into Big School and throughout life.

Somewhere over the rainbow 🌈

Today the toddlers participated in a fun and engaging gross-motor activity by walking across a rainbow pathway made from colourful paper. The children explored the activity by stepping from one colour to the next using their balance, coordination and body awareness as they moved along the pathway whilst leaving a trail of there footprints. 🫟

The activity provided opportunities for the toddlers to build confidence in their physical abilities, develop coordination and enjoy movement through playful exploration. The children showed enthusiasm and curiosity as they followed the rainbow trail and left there footprints behind along the way. 🌟

At TG’s, confidence grows through everyday responsibility.

Whether it's serving their own lunch, caring for their belongings, helping prepare learning spaces, or supporting a friend, children are encouraged to take responsibility in ways that are appropriate for their age.
