Colourful pouring station🚰🌈

Today in the Middle Rock Room, we explored water play using our fine motor skills to pour, tip, scoop and fill. The children enjoyed watching water trickle through colourful hung up pourers and flow through the sink in our pouring station.
This experience supports our current focus outcome 3 of the Early Years Learning Framework - promoting children’s wellbeing through physical movement, coordination and hands-on learning! - not to mention it was so much FUN!☀️🩵

🌿✨ June at TG's Child Care ✨🌿

At TG's, Playing is Learning for Life isn't just something we say — it's something children experience every day.

This month, our children explored nature, connected with their local communities, celebrated important events, built new friendships, and developed confidence through meaningful play and real-world learning experiences.

From community excursions and nature adventures to ANZAC Day commemorations, the Armidale Autumn Festival, and exciting discoveries across our learning environments, June has been filled with moments that nurture curiosity, resilience, belonging, and growth.

We are also incredibly proud of our educators who continue to invest in their professional development, helping us provide the highest quality care and education for every child.

Take a look at what our children, families and educators have been up to throughout June.

At TG’s, children are not protected from every challenge.

They are supported through them. That is TG’s Way, where Respect and Compassion help children build confidence through real experiences in nature.

Whether balancing on logs, climbing over uneven ground, or exploring new environments during beach and bush kindy adventures, children are given opportunities to assess risk, make decisions, and develop trust in their own abilities.

TG’s Educators intentionally observe:
• growing confidence when children attempt something new
• resilience when things don't go to plan the first time
• problem-solving as children navigate challenges independently or with friends

Families often tell us they notice the difference. Children begin taking on new challenges with greater confidence, persistence, and self-belief.

This is Playing is Learning for Life, where outdoor experiences help children develop the resilience, confidence, and body awareness they will carry into school and beyond.

🦒✈️ TG’s Way News Flash! ✈️🦒

It looks like our favourite giraffe has finally decided that walking is just too slow… so it’s catching a flight instead! 😄

At TG’s, we know children’s imaginations can take them anywhere. One moment they’re exploring the garden, the next they’re flying across the world with a giraffe co-pilot! 🌏✨

Through play, storytelling, and creative thinking, children learn that there are no limits to where curiosity can take them. After all, Playing is Learning for Life.

🧡 Question for our TG’s families:
Where do you think our giraffe is flying to today? Tell us in the comments! 👇

A Change of Scenery for Our Joeys 🌿

Our Joeys children enjoyed a lovely stroll outdoors to the ball pit today, embracing a change of scenery and exploring their environment. Taking in the sights and sounds around them before enjoying lots of fun, laughter and movement in the ball pit. Experiences like these support children's wellbeing, confidence and sense of belonging as they explore the world around them. 💛

At TG’s, our philosophy is not written on a wall.
It is lived every day through relationships, reflection, and genuine care. That is TG’s Way, where Love, Trust, Respect, Compassion and FUN guide how children grow and learn.

Recently, a family shared this reflection about their experience:

"The TG’s Way is being delivered incredibly by all educators which is remarkable because that doesn’t happen in every industry."

They also shared something we hear often from families:

"Always feeling welcome – no matter what kind of day educators have had, they always make sure everyone feels welcome."

These reflections speak to what matters most at TG’s. When children and families feel welcomed, supported, and respected, children develop the confidence to explore, ask questions, try new things, and build relationships.

Educators observe children becoming more independent, more curious, and more willing to engage with the world around them.

This is Playing is Learning for Life, where strong relationships create the conditions for lifelong learning.

🌷 EYLF Alignment:
Children develop a strong sense of identity, belonging and confidence as capable learners.

🔆 NQS Alignment:
NQS 1: Educational programs guided by observation and intentional teaching
NQS 4: Professional educators committed to reflective practice
NQS 5: Secure, respectful relationships with children
NQS 6: Genuine partnerships with families
