🌱🔬 Helensvale State School Science Symposium 🔬🌱

What began as a seed of curiosity blossomed into an incredible evening as we wrapped up National Science Week in spectacular fashion.

Our Year 5 and 6 Scholar students have been working throughout the year to bring this event to life, and their hard work, dedication, and passion for science were on full display.

Families, staff, students, and community members were amazed by the hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations, interactive displays, and innovative passion projects. We were also thrilled to welcome the STEM Ambassadors from Helensvale State High School, who shared engaging science experiments and gave our Years 4, 5 and 6 students an exciting glimpse into the hands-on learning opportunities that will be available through their new STEM Academy launching in 2027.

More than just a showcase, this event was proof that when you plant the right questions, something truly remarkable grows. 🌟

Congratulations to all of our students for their outstanding efforts and for inspiring us with their curiosity, confidence, and scientific thinking. We are so proud of what you have achieved.

📚 Book Week 2026 is here! 🎉

A reminder that Helensvale State School's Book Week Parade will be held on:

📍 Senior Oval

Students are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite Book Week costumes, and parents are warmly invited to join in the fun and watch the parade. We can't wait to see everyone's creativity on display!

📖 The Scholastic Book Fair also begins tomorrow in the Library. Classroom teachers have booked times for students to visit and explore the fantastic range of books and activities on offer.

We look forward to celebrating the joy of reading with our school community! 📚✨
