Helensburgh Public School was opened in 1887 and is the most northern school in the area of the NSW coast known as the Illawarra region. Our school has 462 students in 19 classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school is student welfare centred and provides a strong literacy and numeracy foundation for lifelong learning.

Congratulations to those who received Merit Awards :) A HUGE shout out to Mrs Sullivan for over 11 years of hard work and dedication in our canteen! We will miss you and wish you all the best ❤️ We also celebrated four classes with amazing attendance and ended our assembly watching Principal Woods in action! 🤩🌟
