📚 YEAR 11 & 12 – EXAM BLOCK from 26 October! ✍️
Exam time is approaching, and now is the perfect time to get organised, revise key concepts and set yourself up for success! 💪
Our Year 11 and 12 students, here are a few tips to help you feel prepared and confident heading into your upcoming exams:
📅 PLAN AHEAD – Create a study timetable and break your revision into manageable chunks. Don’t leave everything until the last minute!
📖 REVISE REGULARLY – Review your notes, practise key concepts and use past papers or practice questions to test your knowledge.
📵 MINIMISE DISTRACTIONS – Put your phone away, find a quiet study space and give your learning your full attention.
📝 BE PREPARED – Check your exam timetable, know what topics will be covered and organise everything you need well before exam day.
😴 LOOK AFTER YOURSELF – Get enough sleep, eat nutritious meals, stay hydrated and take regular breaks. Your brain needs rest to perform at its best!
🎯 STAY POSITIVE – Believe in yourself, focus on what you can control and remember that consistent effort makes a difference.
🤝 ASK FOR HELP – If you’re unsure about something, speak with your teachers before exam day. They are there to support you!
Remember, preparation is key, and every study session is an opportunity to build confidence and improve your understanding.
Stay focused, back yourself and give it your best! We’re cheering you on, Heatley Proud Learners!

💚 MENTAL HEALTH WEEK | YOUR WELLBEING MATTERS 💚

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and looking after our wellbeing is something we all need to prioritise.

This Mental Health Week, we encourage our Heatley Secondary College community to take a moment to check in with themselves and others. A simple conversation, a friendly smile or taking the time to truly listen can make a bigger difference than you might realise.

✨ Check in with a friend.
✨ Make time for the things you enjoy.
✨ Take a break when you need one.
✨ Talk to someone you trust.
✨ Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength.

At Heatley, we want every student to feel supported, valued and connected. Let's continue to build a caring community where everyone feels comfortable reaching out, speaking up and supporting one another.

You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to know that you don't have to face it alone. 💚
