🍃🎨 Wombat Art Adventures 🎨🍃

Our Wombats (3–4 years) had fun exploring nature in a creative way – using leaves, twigs, and other natural materials as paintbrushes on our outdoor fence! 🌿✨

Even though we missed snapping photos of the process, the aftermath tells the story – colourful leaves and beautiful patterns left behind from their springtime painting fun. 🌸 Such a clever way to use the world around us for creativity!

Our littlest learners (0–2 years) in Echidnas and Platypus enjoyed a calming springtime water tray filled with flowers and lavender. 🌼💜

🌼🌸 Springtime Sensory Fun in Koalas 🌸🌼

Our curious Koalas (2–3 years) welcomed spring with a wonderful sensory tub filled with fresh flowers, shaving foam, food dye, and pinecones! 🪵✨

The children explored the colours, textures, and patterns of the season, building creativity and fine motor skills while enjoying lots of giggles along the way. 🌈💖 Messy spring play really is the best kind of play!

What a fantastic way to finish off Book Week! 🎉 Today we had Dorothy and Wags, Where’s Wally, pirates, superheroes, vikings, dinosaurs, and plenty of princesses filling the centre with colour and fun. 👑🦖⚔️

It’s been such a wonderful week celebrating stories, imagination, and the joy of reading. A big thank you to all our families and educators for bringing Book Week to life – we’ve loved every moment! 💛

Today, our little witches and wizards brought the world of Harry Potter to life! 🧙‍♂️🧙‍♀️

We had everyone dressed up as their favourite characters—Harry, Hagrid, Bellatrix, Hogwarts students, and even some magical mandrakes! 🌿⚡

The day was full of imagination, laughter, and magical creativity. What a spellbinding way to celebrate Book Week!

🌟 Book Week – Day 3! 🌟

What another magical day of dress-ups and storytelling fun! 📚✨
Today the children and educators arrived as some of our favourite characters – we had Captain Hook, Smee, and the hungry crocodile snapping their way through the morning 🐊🏴‍☠️, plus dazzling Barbie's, a rainbow of crayons and dresses, and plenty of mighty superheroes ready to save the day! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

The room was also filled with adventurous pirates, sparkling princesses, hardworking builders, and of course, everyone’s favourite puppy – Bluey! 🐾💙

It’s been so wonderful seeing the children’s excitement and imagination shine each day – we can’t wait to see what characters tomorrow will bring! 💛

✨📚 Book Week – Day 2! 📚✨

What an incredible day of costumes! Today we were joined by Gandalf, Gollum, and Bilbo Baggins on an adventure through Middle-earth, fluttering fairies, the Teletubbies, and Bluey. 🚀👑

We also had astronauts ready for space missions, sparkling princesses, cheeky Minions, wiggly caterpillars, and even the tricky Where’s Wally? hiding in the crowd! 👓🐛

The creativity and excitement have been magical—thank you to all our families for helping bring the characters to life. 💛

✨📚 Book Week Day One! 📚✨
What an incredible start to Book Week! Today we had the most amazing characters walk through our doors – from Hiccup and Toothless 🐉, to strong female superheroes 🦸‍♀️, the cuddly Winnie the Pooh and friends 🍯, the lovable Elmo ❤️, the sporty Troy Bolton 🏀, and so many more!

The children (and staff!) had so much fun dressing up and celebrating their favourite stories. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! 💛

🌋🧪 Science Week in Wombat Room! 🧪🌋

The Wombat Room (3–4) got hands-on with science this week by making their very own volcano in the sandpit! The children explored cause and effect as they watched their sand volcano erupt with fizzing lava.

It was amazing to see their excitement, curiosity, and teamwork in action. Science has never been so much fun! 🌈💛
