Holy Rosary Primary School Heathcote Holy Rosary Heathcote is a welcoming Catholic primary school with caring teachers & a strong sense of community.

Our small class sizes allow staff to know each child, both as a learner & as an individual, ensuring every student is valued & supported. Holy Rosary offers small class sizes with highly relational staff. We collect and utilise assessment data to inform best practice for teaching and learning. Holy Rosary offers specialist areas of; Languages, Sport, Visual Arts, Performing Arts and STEAM.

What a fantastic afternoon we had on Monday when The Blurbs came to perform a selection of songs for our students in the O’Dee!

Thanks to Mrs Barber, Mrs Douglas and Ms Conduit, our students were well prepared and knew all the songs, which were based on this year’s Book Week Shortlisted Books: Bored, The Emperor’s Egg, Dear Broccoli and Pig the Winner.

The afternoon was full of singing, laughter and plenty of fun, with the cast even inviting some very excited students and teachers to join in on stage!

A huge thank you to The Blurbs for bringing the magic of books, music and performance to Holy Rosary. What a wonderful afternoon had by all! 💙

⭐Student Focus of the Week – Week 7⭐

Congratulations to Olivia from 5/6B, our Student Focus of the Week!

This week, Mr Butcher’s class completed an exciting project exploring Australian exports and the products we send across the globe. Students drew a map of Australia and identified the different states and territories that export products from our country.

Olivia has really shown her creative side through her work. Her piece demonstrates a clear understanding of the task, while also showing the care and enjoyment she put into the project.

It is wonderful to see students bringing their own creativity and personality into their learning, and Olivia has certainly done that this week.

Well done, Olivia! Keep up the fantastic work!

What an absolutely unbelievable day we have had at Holy Rosary! Today was all about celebrating books, creativity, imagination and, most importantly, the joy that comes from getting lost in a great story.

It has been such a joyful day filled with books, laughter, creativity, imagination, teamwork and plenty of fun. Seeing students from different year levels working together, encouraging one another and getting completely caught up in the activities was wonderful.

A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to Tayla, Karla and Steph for the enormous amount of time, thought and hard work that went into preparing today's activities. Your creativity and organisation helped make the day so special for our students.

And finally, thank you to our beautiful Holy Rosary families. The support you continue to show our school and our students is something truly special. Seeing families cheering from the sidelines this morning, taking photos, celebrating the students and helping them bring their favourite characters to life reminded us once again what a wonderful school community we have.

Today was a celebration of everything we love about books and everything we love about Holy Rosary.
We hope our students had as much fun as we did!

Congratulations to Sophie from 3/4G, our Student Focus of the Week!

Sophie has shown fantastic imagination and creativity through her creative writing piece all about… a potato! 🥔 😂

We love seeing Sophie use her imagination to turn an everyday object into a fun and creative story. What a wonderful example of thinking outside the box and letting your ideas grow!

📚✨ Book Week Parade Tomorrow! ✨📚

Something EXCITING is happening here at Holy Rosary tomorrow!

Tomorrow, Friday 21st August, our much-anticipated Book Week Parade is taking place! Our students will come dressed as their favourite book characters, walk the red carpet and show off their amazing outfits for everyone to enjoy!

And the fun doesn’t stop there! After the parade, we have a bunch of exciting activities planned to keep the Book Week vibes going throughout the day.

A huge THANK YOU to Tayla, Karla and Steph for all the hard work that has gone into preparing such a wonderful day for our students. We can’t wait to see the creativity, imagination and bookish magic come to life tomorrow!
