In our specially designed centre, your child will have the highest level of care from our experienced and qualified educators. Creative Garden Heathcote is a childcare and early learning centre, providing quality long day care and preschool for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in Heathcote, Engadine, Yarrawarrah and Woronora Heights. Our long-standing team of early childhood educators and Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers deliver evidence-based learning and a Government-approved preschool program. Learning is tailored to each Childs strengths and needs through Individual Learning Plans. Families enjoy our vibrant outdoor environments, engaging indoor learning spaces, chef-prepared meals, and regular updates via our family app. We also offer Bush Kinder, community walks, guest incursions, and local excursions.

Our team from Creative Garden Coombabah recently attended the final Mobo Jarjums session for 2026.

It was a privilege to listen to Aunty Julie and Aunty Betty share stories of family, culture, Country and community. We left feeling grateful for their wisdom and inspired to continue learning, listening and building connections with our local Aboriginal community.

We're looking forward to bringing these learnings back to the centre and sharing them with the children. 💛🖤❤️

Book Week has arrived at Creative Garden Kellyville Ridge!

The centre has been transformed with colourful, story-inspired displays, creating inviting spaces for children to explore, imagine and celebrate the joy of books.

Throughout the week, the children will enjoy book-inspired experiences that bring favourite stories to life and encourage creativity, curiosity and a love of reading.

This time 20 years ago Heathcote Sunshine Kids, now know as Creative Garden Heathcote opened our gates for the very first time! We have had the wonderful privilege of welcoming so many children, families and educators into our little community to work and play.

Today is a celebration to all the children who have gone on to do some amazing things with their lives, the families who chose our service to educate and care for their children and also to the amazing educators who have been an inspiration to everyone around them! We thank you all for joining us on our adventures of learning and discovery and becoming a part of our lives.

There has been one person who has been the leader of this amazing journey and we can not mark this celebration without recognizing her dedication, passion, innovation and commitment to early education and care. Congratulations Megan for also reaching your 20 year milestone with us.

Loose parts play develops skills across the whole curriculum. It is child-led, and helps children strengthen their independence and sense of self. It allows children to observe, enquire, investigate, construct, deconstruct and engage with both others and the world around them. We have lots of loose parts play within all rooms as well as the outdoor environment! Today some of our starlights were found using tires, cable reels and planks to firstly create a car and then they turned their car into a home!

Our outdoor learning environment is just as important as our indoor environments, if not more! The extension of our curriculum is explored and can be extended in so many ways when outside. Loose parts and creativity are big features of our outdoor play as is sand, water, sensory play, creative arts and nature.
