Some of our activities in our Possum and Kookaburra rooms today!
We have a lot of busy children enjoying Sensors, fine motor skills and imagination play.

Our Koala room children have been busy exploring!
Our Koala educators are able to help extend our koala children’s gross motor skills by climbing and crawling over the soft blocks, sensory, fine motor skills and hand eye coordination with the different textured resources, musical instruments and building blocks.
The children have also been working on their farm animal sounds and names, having the farm small world helps the children to be able to identify each animal with the assistance of educators extending on their language skills.

Our Koala’s cozy reading nook, the children and educators love being in this area reading the soft interactive books.
On the roof there is a mirror which the children love being able to play peek a boo with!

Our Joey’s have been working on their motor skills!
Today we worked a lot on our fine motor skills and hand eye coordination with drawing on different angles, manoeuvring puzzles and stacking rings and using pincer tongs to explore some sea life!

Spot the dinosaurs 🦖 🦕 our Joey children have been interested in different dinosaur books over the past week, so today the educators helped create a dinosaur jungle with the children.
In this area we the children explored the dinosaurs by creating a nest, mountains and rocks out of the wooden stacking blocks!

One of the activities in our Kookaburra room today was creating masterpieces out of natural materials that we were able to create over and over again!
The children loved being able to create different pictures.
