We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2027 Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Auditions at Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School.

We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this information with students and families within your school community who may be interested in pursuing their passion and developing their skills in the creative and performing arts.

CAPA Audition Opportunities
Applications are open for:
Circus Arts
Creative Arts
Dance
Drama
Music

Auditions are open to:
Students entering Year 7 in 2027 – currently in Years 6
Students entering Year 7 in 2028 – currently in Year 5 (will be invited to attend CAPA workshops throughout 2027)

Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School provides students with opportunities to develop their creativity, performance skills and confidence while being part of a vibrant and supportive CAPA community.

Applications are now open and will close on 13 October, so we encourage interested students and families to find out more and submit their application.

Hopefully the weather is on our side this Sunday!

Kindergarten 2027 families, please join us in the kindergarten playground for our Picnic and Play. Entry to the kindergarten playground is via the Kiss and Drop gate on Hazelbrook Parade.

If we need to postpone due to poor weather, there will be a comment on this post and an email sent to enrolled families by 9.00 am on Sunday morning.

Last week members of staff, students and the P&C took part in an induction session for our new Zing headphones that are being purchased for the school. A big thank you to Hazelbrook P&C for generously committimng funds that will be raised from the Mid-Mountains Garden Festival.

The headphones complement learning, wellbeing, focus, engagement and fun! Whether used for classroom lessons, mindfulness activites or silent discos, the headphones are an invaluable resource for our school.
