Tonight Lodge Kellerman started the new year with our new home at Artarmon Masonic Centre.
Work for this evening by W Bro. GlynnPotter was a lecture from VW Bro. Alan Gale “Freemasonry - Positively Defined” and we shared the company of other Lodges from our new District 22.
We’d love to see you at our next happy meeting.

Throwback to this time last year 😷
Lodges were locked-down and we weren’t able to meet normally. Despite that, we found a way to enjoy a BBQ together with family and friends.
That sort of connection and support during tough times is what Freemasonry is all about.

What a night!
In our Lodge’s 20th year, W.Bro. Glynn Potter was last night installed in the Chair of King Solomon by W. Bro. John Townsend.
We had over 50 people in the room with a fraternal from our neighbours at Lodge Royal Empire.
Thank you to the Grand Master's Representative will be R.W. Bro. Paul Barber, M. St. J, SGW, Grand Director of Ceremonies will be W. Bro. Roland Martinez, GSTB, and the ceremonial team for their assistance in the work for the evening, as well as everybody who attended to make the night special.
Make sure you congratulate our newly installed Worshipful Master!

After a last minute invitation from Lodge Camden our WM joined their second degree last week.
They have started a similar Masonic tradition of having lapel pins made and he was the first to receive one as a visiting brother.
Also, there was another interesting joke-gift in the form of a very large t-shirt: we’ll let you read the logo.
Despite the uncertainty of COVID-19 restrictions, visiting Lodges and keeping that social connection maintained is essential.

Tonight was the 20 year anniversary of Lodge Kellerman 1027.
Cutting the birthday cake were our Founding Worshipful Master Nick Scott, one of the founding fathers of Lodge Kellerman Peter Court, alongside our current custodian in the Chair of King Solomon John Townsend.
Despite the difficulties of the global pandemic, Kellerman had a full room for this hallmark occasion, and celebrating harmony and the company of the brethren in Lodge once again is what it is truly about.
Here’s looking forward to the next 20 years!
(If you have any photos you’d like to share from the early days of Lodge Kellerman, please post them in the comments below).

Getting together face-to-face is a real pleasure, especially since we were on hiatus for twelve months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although we were a little thin on the ground at our meeting last night, we enjoyed a fraternal to Lodge Royal Empire and still had education for our Entered Apprentices and Fellowcrafts.

Did you know that Lodge Kellerman has an Australian Red Cross Lifeblood blood donating team?
It’s a great and easy way you can help the community despite social distancing - and doesn’t cost you anything other than your time. The demand is also greater now because of the pandemic.
You can join us and roll up a sleeve.
Let’s see how many donations our team can get by the end of the year! As always, family and friends of the lodge are welcome.

Last week Lodge Kellerman returned to holding face-to-face rehearsals ahead as practice before our expected return to normal meetings in February.
Tonight we’re meeting online via Teams with some education proposed by one of our Fellowcrafts.
COVID-19 won’t stop our Lodge meeting.

Thank you everybody who joined our Lodge Kellerman Digital Drop-In Drinks tonight via Skype.
We can't exactly remember why everybody started bringing out dressing gowns and guitars, but it was a top night for catching-up with friends.
That's what Freemasonry is all about - even in these times of social distancing where we can't meet face to face.
COVID-19 won't stop our Lodge.

Despite the lockdown we had a fantastic Lodge BBQ in Five Dock today 🔥
Scott and John brought out the portable BBQs and cooked up a storm, and we were all able to show how rusty we are with a ball and cricket bat afterwards 🤣🏏
Thank you to all the members, family, friends, and visitors from other Lodges who attended throughout the day.
Definitely something we should be doing again!
