NETBALL GALA DAY 🏐 😄🌟| What a day on the court! Last week, our 15 & under Netball team travelled to Wagga for a fantastic Gala Day, taking on four games and putting their teamwork, determination and skills into action.

Led brilliantly by our team Captain, Maggie, the girls played some outstanding netball, supported each other across the court and, most importantly, had plenty of fun along the way.

The team finished the day with an impressive 3 wins from 4 games — a fantastic result! 👏

Congratulations Maggie, Rachel, India, Grace, Rhyla, Elsbeth, Emma, Issy and Eva and thanks to Hannah J who umpired for the day.

Awards presented at this week's assembly - 'Best On' - Rachel, 'Umpire's' - India, 'Coach's' - Grace, 'Most Valuable Player' and 'Player's Player' - Maggie.

Well done, girls! A great day of sport, teamwork and representing HWMHS with pride. 🤎💛 💜

Appreciation to Mrs Kerr for driving to Wagga, supporting the team and scoring throughout the day.

SYMPHONY OF STORIES 🤠 🤡 🧟‍♂️ | Today our students and staff showed their love of reading through fun costumes for Book Week.

Our staff found their creative side, showing their true colours through Mr Men and Little Miss characters.

It was great to see Year 12 continue the tradition of collaborating for this fun dress-up.

Students enjoyed receiving prizes for their efforts.

Appreciation to Ms Bender for her organisation of activities for Book Week!
