PLANT POWER 🍌🍓 // This week, our K/1R class learned that fruits and vegetables come from plants. They discussed which part of the plant each food comes from—such as the root, stem, leaf, or flower. They then cut up fruits and vegetables and made their own fruit salad to enjoy.

RIVERINA ATHLETICS🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️// Congratulations to the HPS students who represented the Deni and District Zone at the Riverina Athletics Championships in Albury on Friday.

A massive shout out to Ben Taylor (🥇high jump, 🥉800m) and Oaken Woods (🥈shot put) who have qualified to represent the Riverina at the NSWPSSA State Athletics Championships 👏🏼.

FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST 🥸☕️ // It was great seeing lots of dads, grandpas, and other important father figures enjoying the morning together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the morning so much fun!

WANDI CREATIONS 🎨🐾 // Our 3/4S class has been having a fantastic time exploring the quality text 𝘞𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪 through a creative pottery activity! The students crafted their own dingo heads, bringing stories to life with their amazing artwork.

A big thank you to Jenny Dwyer from Murrumbidgee Landcare Group for supporting us and inspiring our young artists!

FOOTY COLOURS DAY 🎽🏉 // A huge thank you to everyone who came dressed in their footy colours to support CanAssist! It was fantastic to see so many teams represented on the grounds.

Due to popular demand our NRLW signed jersey raffle will be continuing until Friday. Raffle tickets can be purchased during lunch times on Wednesday and Thursday. The winner will be drawn at our Father’s Day breakfast on Friday morning.
