We get it, life is expensive at the moment. Want to go overseas but wondering how on earth you can afford it (while still affording your rent and petrol?!) Here’s some helpful funding options to consider:
OS HELP Loan: An Australian Government loan that gets added to your HELP debt- you can get up to $8,519 deposited into your bank account to help cover the costs of overseas study
Funding grants: There are $3,000 - $5,000 grants available for students who study at certain partner universities/destinations- that’s just money in your account to help with all of the costs, no loan, no strings attached! Check out swi.nu/funding for more info.
Centrelink Austudy and Youth Allowance payments: these can continue while you’re overseas!
NCP Scholar Program: up to $70,000 for a fully-funded study, language and intern experience overseas

At Swinburne, we offer exciting short-term overseas study tours that are led by experienced Swinburne academic staff members.
Our tours offer you the chance to travel to new countries, experience different cultures and learn outside of the classroom! Study tours can be from 2-4 weeks, usually full time in an intensive block and an opportunity to travel while gaining 12.5 credit points of academic credit!
