Bullying No Way Week starts today!
This week in Wellbeing sessions, GPS students will be participating in recorded lessons facilitated by Kids Helpline Official, where they’ll be learning how to how to recognise and respond to bullying with practical tools and strategies.
Thank you Katherine Copsey for advocating for our school. We have such a wonderful community and the most engaged and curious learners, but it is a challenge to maintain the beautiful heritage buildings we work in!

Our team of Year 6 students were hard at work from this morning until 8:00pm tonight to write and illustrate a book for the ‘Write a Book in a Day’ competition, raising around $1200 for the The Kids' Cancer Project.
And speaking of books…tomorrow is Book Day at GPS, kicking off with the ever popular staff performance from 9:00am in the Hall. Looking forward to seeing you there!

On Monday, our amazing Preps celebrated 100 days of school!
Our theme this year was 100 days of Discovery, where students were invited to dress up as ‘discoverers’. We had scientists, astronauts, teachers, a palaeontologist, and doctors to name a few.
Activities included a 100 days collage, Buddy Time where they played 100 second challenges, and their favourite, decorating biscuits - using icing and lollies to make the number 100.
It goes without saying how proud we are of our Prep students! Keep shining, exploring and discovering, Preps! 💕

It’s our Student Representative Council’s (SRC) ‘Hoodies and Hair’ day at GPS tomorrow.
Students are invited to wear a hoodie and get creative with their hair, while raising money for Neuro Thrive Australia.
