Columba Playtime

Calendar | St Columba's Anglican Church Almost Like Church is our family oriented service where we pray, listen to scripture, reflect on what we hear, sing, do some activities and have Holy Communion. We learn together as we enjoy the company of God and each other. Please join us on Sunday, 16 November at 11.00am for our next session.

Join us for a picnic in the park followed by a children's nativity play and carol singing. The picnic begins at 5.00pm, then the nativity play at 6.00pm. And if you would like to stay for tea, coffee and slice and some more carols, please stay on and enjoy yourself. Suitable for anyone of any age. And no cost.

Almost Like Church is an interactive family service where we sing, pray, think, do some art and craft, and finally take communion together. The service starts at 11am in the parish hall. Join us a bit after 10.30am for morning tea before we begin the service. Everyone is welcome.

All members of the community are welcome to join us in making balsa wood planes. It's fun, and you can take the plane home to fly! We begin at 9.30am followed by morning tea at 10.30am.

🚗✈️🛳️🚀 Last term we zoomed into our Transport theme and had an absolute blast! From exploring vehicles on land, taking off into the skies, sailing the seas, and even venturing into space — our little adventurers were on the move! We had fun with our helicopters. The propellor was powered by a rubber band hidden inside the cup.

Christmas isn't that far away. Are you thinking about gifts? What and who? Join us for our next community event of Christmas craft and gift making. Everyone is welcome, and we end with morning tea around 10:30 a.m.

This term we have been learning about ourselves. Last weeks topic was our ears, the craft activity was to create 'Listening Ears.'
