π AHS is Taking Part in the World's Greatest Shave! π
This Thursday the 18th of June some of our students and staff are preparing to take part in the World's Greatest Shave to raise funds and awareness for Australians living with blood cancer.
Members of our school community team will be shaving, cutting, or colouring their hair to support the important work of the Leukaemia Foundation. Every donation, big or small, helps provide vital support services, fund research, and bring hope to families affected by blood cancer.
We invite our community to get behind this fantastic cause and support our participants! Thank you for your generosity and support!

Today was the first day of our Year 9 DARE Local Project Expo!
The DARE Project is new year long subject at AHS for our Year 9 students. This term half of our Year 9 students have been developing a viable solution to an Australian issue linked to a Sustainable Development Goal, demonstrating local responsibility through inquiry, collaboration and action.
Students created a visual display of their solution and presented their innovative ideas to visitors today.
Our Year 9s will be assessed on a developmental rubric against our Auburn Learner Qualities.
We canβt wait to see our DARE Global Projects tomorrow!

Today our Year 10 students spent the day at Swinburne University exploring and experiencing a range of university courses including Aviation and Product Design.
With subject selections and course counselling coming up this was a great opportunity to begin to think about future pathways.
