Yesterday was bump-in day for our 2026 School Production, Singin’ in the Rain Jr. and it was so exciting to see everything starting to come together!

Congratulations to all students who represented Auburn High School at state cross country championships recently on 16th July. They all conducted themselves admirably, demonstrating resilience in tough and muddy conditions!

Student Arrangements - Thursday 23rd July (Industrial Action):

Per Principal Ross Pritchard's update to families yesterday evening, our school programs will be impacted by industrial action on Thursday 23rd July, with a significant of staff (teachers and other employees) not available onsite on this day. Please access the below graphics for a summary of arrangements that will apply to you.

- Year 7 classes will run as usual, staffed by replacement teachers. Please arrive to school on time as usual and in full school uniform.
- Year 8 Camp will continue. Year 8s not on camp will shadow Year 7 classes for the day. Please check your Compass.
- Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 classes will be cancelled.
- The Senior Building Study Centre will be open for optional independent study for Year 11 and Year 12 students only.

For students of who are children of critical service workers or families with special circumstances who are unable to make alternative arrangements, parents/guardians are advised to contact AHS Reception [email protected] so that arrangements can be made. Further questions can be directed to AHS Reception.

Congratulations to Terry Y, 2025 graduate, who was today recognised in the Top 3 International Students in VCE in 2025.

The annual Premier’s VCE Awards recognises students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).

More than 1000 guests attended the prestigious ceremony, where Victoria’s top-performing 2025 VCE students were recognised for their outstanding academic results.

We are excited for our Senior School Expo tomorrow!

This event is a crucial part of our course counselling process for Year 9 and Year 10 students, offering them the opportunity to explore VCE, VCE VM, and IB pathways as they make their subject preferences for 2027.

Congratulations to our students who finished in the top 30% of the renown international maths competition of the Kangourou des Maths. Students from AHS, CJC and CPS celebrate these maths successes by playing challenging maths games in teams and then coming on stage to receive their prizes during the awards ceremony last Tuesday at CPS. A very special mention to Philip, year 8 (4e) who was 5th out of the 30 000 candidates worldwide in his category.

Meet our champions!!! 🏆

32 of our students in Year 9 & 10 participated in the National Science and Engineering Challenge yesterday at Deakin University in Burwood. Our AHS team were the champions at this initial stage sending them off to the State competition in September.
