Here are some moments from our last few days here at Little Twigs Family Daycare. We got to spend time enjoying the sunshine doing what the children loved to do.
Today we got our last visit from our friends Jayne Marshall and Willow. The weather allowed us to head to the beach. Soldier crabs galore the Willow, Harry and Nixon collecting them. Nixon has absolutely no fear at all @ one point he had 7 crabs in his hand that he released onto the rock to show us. We got to watch children splash on rock pool and watch their boots fill with water while little Tom took a nap.
I created a movie sharing the last day sorry it’s so long but it’s the final post. So enjoy.

As the time draws closer to Little Twigs Family Daycare closing down. I got to spend the last day of their care with these little legends. Harry got to spend an extra day with us as well while he still can. But today we say ‘Till next time’ to Parker (PJ), Evie, Tilly and Hazel. Today we danced away, played hide and seek spent time outside riding bikes, digging and just hanging out together making the most of our time together.
Thank you to Casey van Tienen, Parker and Bentley who popped past with beautiful Lilly’s I get to enjoy this week. Bentley I love my rainbow 🌈 flower you chose for me. 🥰 Thank you to Taryn Alicia, PJ and Grandma Christine for the beautiful flower arrangement, wine and a the special momento that Parker made for me. 🥰🥰
Koa has also moved to another service and I received a beautiful Tree of Life necklace that I will treasure always.
Your generosity is very humbling and I so feel the love and connection  that we have formed together. There is always be mixed feeling when you move to a new stage in your life but I know that our connection and bond that we have formed will always be there. It’s been an absolute pleasure.

School holiday fun!!
Today we welcomed back BYRON & OLIVE for their last day of care. Byron was so excited t me how he could right both his and Olive’s name. Bentley also attended as the boys are such great friends amd was a great opportunity to catch up. We also welcomed our friends Jayne Marshall and Willow to be part of the today’s fun. We spent the day out in the sunshine were we saw bikes rides, volcano erupted with orange lava, the biggest sandpit remodelling along with painting our own T-shirt’s. We enjoyed lunch and breaks on on the deck. We just had a great day spending our time together.

School holidays provides a siblings day. Today

Bentley and unfortunately Parker was unwell and unable to attend today
We began and our day with group and storytime along with our acknowledgment of country. The weather allowed us to spend our morning activities outside. Painting using spray bottles and paintbrushes, lots of building waterfalls, dams and ponds in the sand pit. We made a volcano for the vinegar and bicarb experience. Shouts of delight as the orange lava oozes out.
While Frankie, Harry and Tom had their rest time. Meanwhile Bentley and Lincoln made some stress balls (sorry no pics ) but they all took their balls home.
It warms my heart to see that little Tom is settling in within our environment. Today we had lots of smiles, interaction with myself and others, lots of exploring both indoor and outdoor environments. Well done little Tom Tom.
It’s been a busy day but we all had so much fun and when asking the children what was the best part of today ? Hands down the VOLCANO 🌋 Time to put my feet up ready for tomorrow
