Happy School Holidays!!
What a wonderful Mid-Term Concert we had - and the Finale of Bohemian Rhapsody was INCREDIBLE!
Have a wonderful break, all students - remember there are lessons only by appointment for the next two weeks as we need a cuppa and a lie-down to recover, lol.

PPVS doesn't often brag...we prefer to keep our heads down and do the good basic ground work that produces excellently-trained vocalists and grows young voices appropriately :)
But we love to let our hair down at our concerts and we have a beaut coming up on July 3 - "Keep Calm & Carry On Singing: Brit Pop and Rock"!

YES. Singing lessons are so much more :)

Some students leave your studio with stronger high notes.

Some leave with confidence to speak in class.
To audition.
To make friends.
To take up space.
To say yes...or no.

Some leave knowing how to handle nerves.
How to practice something difficult.
How to keep going after mistakes.
How to breathe through hard moments.

Some leave with memories of singing with you after a difficult school day.
Some leave remembering that your studio was the one place they felt safe to be fully themselves.

Voice lessons were never just about singing.

And even if a student only stays for one season, they carry pieces of your teaching with them for the rest of their lives. 💗💗💗

Welcome to Term 1 of 2026, students and parents!
It's another busy one in the Studio with a terrific theme for the Mid-year Concert/showcase - 'Brit Pop & Rock'!
Oh sooo many choices from as far back as Lulu and Gerry & The Pacemakers right through Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, to Sam Smith, Adele and Dua Lipa!
Your welcome emails are on their way, a special shout out to all new students and a fond farewell to those moving on with an HSC Year - best of luck to you all :)
As ever, please make sure you have regsistered your enrolment and booked in your first lesson for this week (preferably!) as the official start is Feb 2 but we are a week early this year due to the last week of this term, when I will need to be overseas.
