Today is the first day of the last week of school holidays; what are you doing with your final days of 'freedom'?
Me? I am enjoying this 'handy' online thesaurus to inspire more creativity in my writing - why use the first word that pops into your head when there is a multitude/myriad/horde/swarm of options to choose from?

IT'S WORLD BRAILLE DAY! Let's give thanks for the life and work of Louis Braille, the creator of the Braille system that gave new access to reading and writing for people with blindness and visual impairment. With six small dots, he delivered the gift of written communication into their hands - literally! - along with opportunities for learning, creating, and independence.

Despite the invention of screen readers and audio books, braille advocates say there will always be a place for "going old school".
