Today our F-2 students joined in the live state library event: Symphony of Stories with Josh Pyke.
The students created a song live with Josh Pyke and other schools who joined the workshop.

Hastings PS will be launching our Literacy Festival on Monday 31st August.

We would love to see as many families as possible join us for our Open Afternoon on Wednesday 2nd September in the Angling building from 3-4pm.

🚀 Build. Code. Create. 🎮

💻 On Tuesday ComputerXplorers Australia came to Hastings PS for the day and worked with our F-6 students.

🤖 The whole school had a fantastic time exploring technology, getting creative and developing their problem-solving skills.

Does your child dream of becoming an engineer, game designer, or app creator? Computer Xplorers will be starting an after school club very soon where your child will get the chance to engineer robots, design epic games and create animations.

Our 1/2 students have been fantastic role models this week, supporting our Preps as they explored and played a range of number games! 🔢✨

These sessions are a wonderful opportunity for our younger students to practise the skills they have been learning throughout the week and apply their knowledge in different ways. Working alongside the 1/2's also encourages students to explain their thinking, solve problems, practise their mathematical skills and build confidence in their learning.

It has been wonderful to see our 1/2 students taking on the role of supportive leaders while our Preps learn through play, practice and collaboration! 🌟
