We are very excited to introduce the newly appointed Executive Committee of Harvey Community Play & Learning Centre! 💛

We’re also celebrating a little piece of HCPLC history, our new Vice President Chris, is the first male member of our Executive Committee! 👏🥳 We absolutely love seeing dads and male family members getting involved and helping shape the future of our centre.

Our Executive Committee plays such an important role in supporting the operation, growth and future of our community-run centre, and we are incredibly grateful to have people willing to put their hands up and take on these roles.

A huge thank you also goes to our outgoing committee members for the time, dedication and support they have given HCPLC. 💛

💚 Harvey Community Play & Learning Centre needs your support! 💚

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in August (date to be confirmed), and we will have a number of committee positions available, including both Executive and General Member roles.

As a community-run, not-for-profit early learning service, our centre relies on volunteers to form our management committee. Without community members stepping forward, our service cannot continue to operate.

You don’t need to have children currently attending the centre, and you don’t need previous committee experience. If you have a passion for supporting local families and ensuring quality early childhood education remains available in Harvey, we’d love to have you involved.

Whether you can take on an executive role or simply become a general committee member, every contribution makes a difference.

If you’ve ever wondered how you could give back to your community, this is a meaningful way to help secure the future of a service that supports so many local children and families.

Today we’re reaching out to our community to support one of our centres’ families.

A parent in the family has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. As they begin treatment and navigate the challenges ahead, we’d love to rally around them with whatever support we can offer.

As we continue improving and refreshing our learning environments at Harvey Community Play & Learning Centre Inc., we are clearing out some furniture that is no longer being used and is taking up valuable play space for the children. 🧸🌿

Rather than sending it to waste, we would love to offer these items to our families and local community first. 💛

Items are:

✔️ Free to take
✔️ Pick up only
✔️ First in, best dressed
