ECE Students will have a redo of the parade on Monday. Parents are welcome to attend. Prizes for the Kindergarten students will be awarded on this day (all other year levels will be awarded Friday). Remember all participants will receive a special prize!

Due to a severe weather warning for tomorrow, the Book Week Parade has been postponed to Friday 28th at 8:45am

We understand that this does not fall on at Kindergarten day however we would still love for you to bring your child in on Friday, if you are able to!

A fantastic weekend at the WACSSO Conference!

Our HPS P&C representatives, President Brooke Jones & Vice President Lisa Neilsen, had the opportunity to attend the 2026 WACSSO Conference and connect with P&C members from schools across Western Australia.

It was a great opportunity to learn, share ideas, hear from inspiring speakers and gain new knowledge that we can bring back to our P&C and our school community.

Guest Speakers included:
✨ Hon Sabine Winton MLA, Minister for Education
✨ Robyn Collard for her moving Welcome to Country
✨ Dr Jana Pittman
✨ Bethany Moore from Containers for Change WA
✨ Ava Oprandi from the Department of Communities
✨ Sarah Stribley from Moora Primary P&C

From advocacy and leadership to community partnerships, child safety, volunteer success stories, and embracing/conquering fear, each presentation added something valuable to the conversation and helped shape a memorable weekend of Conference.

We’re always looking for ways to improve what we do and make an even bigger difference for the students and families of Harvey Primary School.

A huge thank you to WACSSO: Representing P&Cs in WA together such a valuable and inspiring conference!
