Reading is encouraged and we love it. Cindy’s Place participated in an excursion to the Cobb and Co for National Simultaneous Story Time.
It was a wonderful outing and thank the museum for a fantastic experience.

Learning Outcome 2.1 Children develop a sense of belonging to groups /communities and an understanding of reciprocal rights and responsibilities necessary for activity community participation.

Celebrating and learning about our Australia.....🐨🐕🐾
Small world play is an important aspect of children’s play, aiding many areas of development. Imaginative skills are supported allowing the child to express thoughts and experiences into their play, whilst exploring the world in which they live. Small world also offers the opportunity for children to build on their language skills, expanding their vocabulary and their understanding. This type of play not only supports a range of areas for development, but also benefits the child’s independent play skills

Our week finished off out enjoying a hunt for scented flowers and plants, lavender, curry, ginger and rosemary were discovered in the garden, and the prettiest smell of all was of course our roses. Creative collages were created from snippets of our garden. This has all been extended learning from one of our families visiting the gorgeous sunflowers growing out on the Downs.
A little caterpillar was also discovered... what will this lead too next. I’m thinking some Very Hungry Caterpillar experiences will be a must 🐛🌿🌻
