🩺👶 Our friends in Play Studio 4 had a wonderful time being doctors for the day! They loved caring for their babies, giving check-ups, listening to heartbeats, and making sure everyone was feeling happy and healthy.

Through imaginative play, the children explored kindness, empathy, communication, and caring for others while having lots of fun. What a fantastic day full of learning and smiles! 💙

💙👖 Jeans for Genes Day 2026 👖💙

Our children and educators looked fantastic in their favourite blue outfits and jeans while helping raise awareness and support for children living with genetic conditions. Throughout the day, the children took part in our 100 Step Challenge, enjoyed lots of fun learning experiences, and finished the day with a delicious bake sale. 🧁👣

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your generous gold coin donations and for helping make today such a success. Your support will help fund vital research and provide hope for children and families affected by genetic diseases.

We loved seeing our community come together for such an important cause. 💙

🐞🦋 Bug Week Fun in Play Studio 2! 🐛🐜

Our Play Studio 2 friends have been busy exploring the wonderful world of bugs through hands-on sensory play! 🌿✨

Using a variety of natural materials, textures and hidden creepy crawlies, the children investigated, discovered and engaged their senses as they searched, scooped, sorted and imagined. Sensory experiences like these support curiosity, fine motor development, language skills and creative thinking while encouraging children to learn through play.

There were plenty of smiles, giggles and exciting discoveries as our little explorers got up close with their bug-themed invitation to play! 🐞💚

💛 We had the wonderful opportunity to welcome Camp Quality to our centre for a special puppet show that helped children learn about cancer in an age-appropriate and meaningful way.

The children were captivated throughout the performance, eagerly listening to the story and enthusiastically participating by asking and answering questions. Through interactive storytelling, they explored important messages about empathy, kindness, inclusion, and supporting others who may be facing challenges.

The puppet show sparked thoughtful conversations about friendship, understanding different feelings and experiences, and how we can all make a positive difference through caring actions. It was heartwarming to see the children share their ideas and demonstrate such compassion for others.

A big thank you to Camp Quality for providing this engaging and valuable learning experience for our children. 💛✨

🌿 Exciting Update at Village Early Learning Harrisdale! 🌿

We are thrilled to share that our brand-new turf has been installed and the children are already loving the fresh new space! 💚

The new turf provides a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for children to explore, play, learn, and enjoy outdoor experiences all year round. It has given our outdoor area a wonderful refresh and created even more opportunities for active play and discovery.

We can’t wait to see all the adventures, games, and learning that will take place in our upgraded outdoor environment!

Yesterday, we were so excited to welcome Harold from Life Ed to our service! 💛🦒

The children participated in Harold’s new program, Harold’s Big Feelings, which focuses on supporting children to build important social and emotional wellbeing skills and knowledge.

Through engaging discussions, stories, and interactive experiences, the children explored emotions, friendships, recognising feelings, and ways to support themselves and others. It was wonderful to see the children so involved and enthusiastic throughout the session.

A big thank you to Harold and the Life Ed team for such a meaningful and engaging visit! 🌟

🌷 Mother’s Day Crafternoon Tea 🌷

On Friday afternoon, our centre was filled with love, laughter, and creativity as we welcomed families to our Mother’s Day Crafternoon Tea 💕

Children were so excited to share special moments with their mums and loved ones while enjoying afternoon tea, decorating photo frames plant pots, planting flowers, creating bracelets, and making beautiful keepsakes together.

These moments of connection are so important and it was wonderful seeing our families come together to celebrate the incredible role mothers and caregivers play in children’s lives each day 💛

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon so special. We hope all our families had a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love and treasured moments.
