🏉 BATTLE OF THE BOOTS IS BACK! 🏉

After an awesome turnout last year, we’re going even bigger in 2026 as Hampton Primary takes on St Mary’s in the Battle of the Boots.

This is more than just a footy match—it’s a fantastic community afternoon for the whole family and fund raising for both schools. Bring the kids, grandparents, neighbours and friends along to cheer on the teams and enjoy:

📚 Scholastic Book Fair 2026

The Book Fair is back! Hundreds of books for every age and reading level, and every purchase earns rewards the school puts straight back into our Library.

Students browse with their class first. Every child comes home with a Wishlist.

Open to families:
🗓 Tuesday 11 — 3.30–4.30pm
🗓 Wednesday 12 — 8.30–9.30am & 3.30–4.30pm
🗓 Thursday 13 — 8.30–9.30am

💳 EFTPOS only on the day — no cash. Or pay online ahead of time and just collect.

⚡️ First in, best dressed. Popular titles sell out fast (online and in person).

How to pay online:

1. Go to parentpayments.scholastic.com.au/BookFairs
2. Enter your State and School
3. Check the HPS Book Fair Number: 7053245
4. Enter details and hit ‘Make Payment’
5. Write the 8-digit receipt number on the Pre-Payment form (or print the receipt)
6. Bring the Wishlist + receipt number in to collect

⚽🏉 After School Sports Programs at Hampton Primary School 🏉⚽

For the past six months, Sport Star Academy has been delivering engaging Football and AFL programs for Hampton Primary School students, helping children stay active, build confidence and develop new skills.

Students can join:

⚽ Football (Soccer) – Mondays at 4:00pm
🏉 Footy (AFL) – Mondays at 4:00pm

✅ Ages 5–12
✅ Qualified and experienced coaches
✅ Fun and inclusive sessions
✅ FREE trial available

To make after-school care easier for families, our coaches are on-site from 3:30pm, supervising participating children until sessions commence at 4:00pm.

Whether your child is new to sport or looking to further develop their skills, our programs provide a positive environment where children can learn, play and make new friends.

🎒 Hampton Primary School Second Hand Uniform Sale 👕

Our second hand uniform sale for this term will be held on Thursday 4 June, from 3pm–3:30pm in the Staff Room.

- Uniform items available from $5–$10
- Card and cash payments accepted

If paying with cash, please bring small notes where possible, as limited change will be available. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us for a free online Parent Information Night focused on child safety and awareness for young people aged 8–16.

Presented by former Detective Senior Constable and child safety advocate Kristi McVee, this important session will help parents, carers and guardians better understand the real risks young people face today, while providing practical tools and strategies to help protect and support them.

Drawing on extensive frontline experience, Kristi delivers a powerful and honest presentation designed to empower adults to take action with confidence.

To all the wonderful mums, grandmothers, aunties and special women in our community — we can’t wait to welcome you this Friday afternoon as we celebrate the incredible role you play in the lives of our students. 💐

Join us from 2:00pm in the Quad for refreshments and connection before heading into classrooms to share some special activities with your child(ren).

We know families come in many forms, and we warmly welcome all the amazing women who support, guide and care for our students each and every day.

Hampton Primary School’s Mother’s Day Stall is just around the corner. Come and be part of this much-loved fundraising event, proudly supported by the PA, where students can choose special gifts for their mums, aunts, grandmothers and the important women in their lives.

The stall will be held on Friday, 8 May 2026, and families can use the link below to purchase vouchers in advance, with all proceeds going directly back to the school community. Each $10 ticket allows your child to select one gift, and multiple tickets can be purchased, so whether it’s one thoughtful present or a bundle of surprises, every purchase helps support the school community - please purchase tickets here:
