Hampton Children's Playhouse is a place where parents/carers and pre-school children can socialise, play and learn together in a welcoming, safe and fun environment. The Playhouse was established in 1978 by local mothers and has become one of Bayside Melbourne's best community facilities for young families. This is the Playhouse's Public page for current and past members, as well as any p

otential future members, and general public or local community groups to Like. Playhouse members can also join the Members page. Once you are a member of Playhouse you can visit as often as you like! Members can visit any day of the week - bookings are not needed. Parents/carers attend Playhouse with their children and are responsible for their own children’s needs.

The next chapter is officially underway! 🛠️✨

Works at Hampton Children’s Playhouse have now commenced - and seeing the space start to transform is incredibly exciting.

After months of planning and organising, we’re finally seeing real progress on the ground. What was once an empty space is becoming the Playhouse we’ve all been working towards.

There’s still a way to go, but every bit of progress brings us closer to welcoming our community back through the doors. 💛

Hampton Children’s Playhouse is run by local parents who generously give their time to create a welcoming space where little ones can play and families can connect.

🥁✨ It’s not too late to join the fun this Saturday! ✨🥁

Our African Drumming event is shaping up to be an energetic, joyful morning for little ones and their grown-ups 💛

Kids will get the chance to:
🥁 Try African drumming
🎶 Learn exciting rhythms and beats
💃 Burn off some energy in the best way
✨ Build confidence, coordination and motor skills through music and movement
