Osu, most of the administrative work has now been completed for the Open South Pacific Championship’s scheduled for August 17
We can now confirm that this tournament will be held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Aughtie Drive, Albert Park.
The official Hotel for this event will be Batman’s Hill on Collins, where we will also be having our Sayonara Party.
There will be Full Contact, Non-contact and Kata divisions.
The Open Weight Divisions will be for the selection of Competitors to attend the First WFKO World Tournament in Weight Categories planned for May 2025, In Tokyo, Japan.
The South Pacific Region has been allocated 1 position in each of the weight categories for both male and female competitors.
The selection will be based on performance regardless of organisation affiliation.
All profits generated from the Selection Tournament will go towards sponsoring the successful candidates to the World Tournament.
