Our Grade 2 students recently enjoyed a wonderful walking excursion to River Gum Creek Reserve as part of their Integrated Studies unit on living things and habitats. Students explored the wetlands, identified different plants and animals, and learned about how living things survive and grow in their environment. It was fantastic to see their curiosity, teamwork, and respect for nature throughout the day.

Today we give thanks for the mothers, grandmothers, aunties and motherly figures who fill our lives with love, strength, patience and care. Your quiet sacrifices, encouragement and unwavering support shape hearts and homes more than words can ever say.

Today was a beautiful celebration of the special women in our lives. Thank you to everyone who joined our classroom prayer celebrations, shared in the incredible morning tea and attended this afternoon’s assembly honouring our mothers, grandmothers, aunties and all those who nurture, guide and love so generously.

Our community is richer because of you. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at St Kevin’s 💙

Today our Grade 1 and 2 students took part in an engaging and informative RACV Squad incursion that focused on staying safe at home and on the roads 🚸

Through interactive activities and discussions, students explored important safety themes including:
• Passenger safety
• Pedestrian safety
• Bike safety
• Identifying hazards in the home

The program aimed to empower students with the knowledge and confidence to make safe choices in their everyday lives. It was fantastic to see such enthusiastic participation and thoughtful contributions from our young learners.
