Congratulations to Old Collegian Sofia Vearing (nee McGaffin),
Class of 1986 on being appointed Deputy Principal of Monivae College.

DEPUTY PRINCIPAL ANNOUNCEMENT // Principal Jonathan Rowe today announced the appointment of Mrs Sofia Vearing as Monivae College Deputy Principal.

A former Monivae student, dedicated educator and respected leader, Sofia brings a deep commitment to the MSC charism, Heart Spirituality, student wellbeing and educational excellence.

"Sofia is a highly regarded leader in our community, committed to ensuring the learning, wellbeing and formation of our young people remain at the heart of all we do," said Mr Rowe.

{OLD COLLEGIAN ACHIEVEMENT}

Congratulations to Leo McMahon, Class of 1976 on being recognised recently for 30 years of dedicated service to Catholic Education.

The award was presented during Catholic Education Week at the Annual Mass and Dinner. Although Leo was unable to attend the dinner, he was officially presented with his certificate at Monivae College on the last day of term by another Old Collegian, Acting Deputy Principal Mrs Sofia Vearing, Class of 1986.

Thank you, Leo, for your outstanding commitment, service, and contribution to Catholic Education over the past 3 decades.
