Our Grade 3/4 students had a fantastic time exploring digital art during a special incursion from the Hamilton Gallery 🎨✨

Madi and Zac facilitated engaging iPad workshops using Procreate, giving students the opportunity to experiment with digital design and create their very own artworks.

It was wonderful to see their creativity, curiosity and individuality shine through as they explored a new way of expressing themselves.

A huge thank you to Madi and Zac for sharing their knowledge, skills and passion for art with our students. We are so grateful for the opportunity! 💙

What an opportunity! If your child is in gr 5/6, please visit the website to find out the details. Just imagine…. their artwork projected on Parliament House 🤩🌟🇦🇺

From the classroom to Australian Parliament House!

Do you know a Year 5 or 6 student with a passion for art?

We’re looking for creative kids whose artwork could feature together with many others as part of a large-scale projection on the Parliament House façade.

We are asking students to show us what makes their corner of Australia special. This can include people, plants, animals, landscapes or special locations that shape everyday life for young people across Australia.

If you have a Year 5 or 6 artist in your family, or know someone who does, please encourage them get involved!

Artworks will form part of an animated projection that will be on display in early 2027. This projection celebrates 100 years of Parliament in Canberra by showcasing children’s artworks from all around Australia.

Head to our website to find more information and resources, including a toolkit for children and a factsheet for parents: aph.gov.au/StudentArtwork

Submissions close at 5pm Thursday 29 October 2026.
