🔭✨ Science fun with VSSEC! 🪐🌏

We had a fantastic visit from VSSEC for some hands-on science learning!

Our Grade 3/4 students explored the solar system through “The Size of Your Sol”, discovering just how BIG our solar system really is! 🌞🪐

Our Grade 5/6 students took on “The Size of Your Sol” before tackling “Surviving is Tough”, exploring extreme environments and the amazing adaptations animals use to survive. 🐻‍❄️🦎🌵

A big thank you to VSSEC for bringing science to life and giving our students such a fun and engaging learning experience! 🔬✨

🎨 Coleraine Art & Photography Show 📸

What a fantastic achievement for our students at the Coleraine Art and Photography Show!

We had around 30 entries from our students, and we are so proud of everyone who took the opportunity to share their creativity and talent.

A huge congratulations to Oliver Kelson, who was awarded Best Photography Award for Primary Schools! 📸🏆 What an amazing achievement!

Well done to all of our students who entered. It takes courage to put your work out there, and we are so proud of you all for giving it a go and being part of such a wonderful opportunity. 💙🎨

Crazy Hair Day 🎉

What a day! 🤪💙 So many wild, wonderful and creative hairstyles around the school today!

A huge thank you to our Student Voice representatives for organising these fun events and bringing so much excitement and school spirit to our days. We love seeing your ideas come to life!

And of course, a massive thank you to all our parents and families for the time, effort and creativity that went into creating some seriously crazy hair! We know some of those hairstyles took a little extra effort this morning 😂💇‍♀️💇‍♂️

🚒 Truck Time! Part 2 of our Integrated Studies Safety Unit 🚒

The CFA came back to join us in 1/2’s last week and we had so much fun getting up close to the fire truck, learning all about the equipment and hearing more about how firefighters help keep us safe.

And the best part… we even got to have a go at spraying the hose at a target! 💦🎯

A huge thank you to the CFA for spending time with us and making our learning so hands-on and memorable. We loved having you back! ❤️

This year, we’re bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics together for a fun evening of hands-on activities, creativity, problem-solving and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn together as a family.

We’re also excited to celebrate National Science Week and showcase the amazing learning happening across our school.

💙 Friday the 7th marked Primary Principals’ Day! 💙

It was a lovely opportunity for our students and staff to celebrate our wonderful Principal, Jane and recognise everything she does for our school community.

There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes to keep our school running, from the busy days and big decisions to the little check ins, problem solving and plenty of laughs along the way! 😊

We are so grateful for the care, support and dedication you bring to our students, staff and families each and every day.
