MOCA REUNIONS // What a wonderful day Saturday was for the Monivae College Old Collegians - MOCA 10, 20, 30 and 40 Year Reunions.

More than 100 alumni came together to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate their shared Monivae experience. The gathering was filled with laughter, stories and meaningful conversations as classmates reflected on the memories, friendships and values that continue to unite them.

These reunions are a powerful reminder that being part of the Monivae community extends well beyond graduation. The experiences, traditions and sense of belonging formed during their school years remain an important part of their lives, creating a connection to Monivae College that endures for a lifetime.

Monivae encourages all past students to stay connected with one another and with the College through the Monivae Old Collegians Association (MOCA). Every Old Collegian is an important part of the Monivae family, and together we celebrate our rich history while strengthening the future of our community and ensuring the Monivae spirit continues to thrive for generations to come. GREATER WESTERN REGION ATHLETICS // After an early start and a beautiful sunny day in Ballarat last Thursday, our athletes put in a fantastic performance on both the track and field. We celebrated six new records and are thrilled that 13 athletes have qualified for the State Championships next week.

It was great to see our students giving their best, supporting one another, and representing Monivae with pride throughout the day.

A big thank you to our staff, coaches and supporters who helped make the day a success. Congratulations to all who competed, and best of luck to those heading to State!

MONIVAE COLLEGE FOUNDATION // In 1998, a group of passionate Old Collegians came together with a shared vision to secure the future of Monivae College. From that meeting, the Monivae College Foundation was born.

Today, that same spirit of generosity continues to make a difference. Through the support of Old Collegians, past parents, friends of the College, and the wider community, the Foundation helps provide life-changing educational opportunities for students across regional Victoria.

We're proud of what we've achieved together, but there's more to do.

💙 Donate today and be part of the Monivae story.

2027 BOARDING CAPTAINS // Our final group of Senior student leaders for 2027 was announced last week, with Kate and Charles appointed as our Boarding Captains.

As leaders of our boarding community, Kate and Charles will help ensure that Monivae Boarding continues to be a true home away from home for students. They will play an important role in welcoming and supporting boarders, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, that makes boarding such a valued part of College life.

Throughout the year, they will encourage participation in the many activities that bring boarders together, helping to create memorable experiences, lasting friendships and plenty of fun along the way.

MISSION FAIR DAY // A day filled with tradition, community spirit and plenty of fun marked the end of Term 3 at Monivae last Friday.

Students gathered for our whole school Mass before taking to the stage for the annual House Singing Competition, where each House showcased incredible energy and pride. Congratulations to Issoudun on being crowned the 2026 House Singing champions.

The excitement continued throughout the Mission Fair, with students and staff enjoying a variety of activities while raising funds to support those in need through MSC missions. The day highlights the generosity, enthusiasm and House spirit that make our school community so special.

A memorable way to finish the term and a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when we come together for a good cause. We hope everyone has a great break and look forward to seeing you all in Term 4.
