On Thursday 6/8/26 the Netball Academy Intermediate team travelled to Jubilee Park, Frankston to compete in the SMR finals.
The girls faced a tough first round match against Alkira SC, and though we fought hard in a fast paced contest, we couldn’t get the win. The second round win against Keysborough SC was one of our best games this year, defeating them comfortably and we finished off our day with another win against Kooweerup SC.
The girls finished second overall in their pool after a great day of competition.
We now start our preparation for the State Schoolgirls Titles on August 20th, our final tournament for the year.
Well done girls!

Southern Metro Finals Day

Yesterday our Senior Boys Australian Rules Football team competed at the SSV Southern Metropolitan Regional finals day. The boys started well with wins against Alkira, SEDA and Koo Wee Rup which got us into the final on the day. Unfortunately we came up short against Parkdale SC losing by 3 goals in an entertaining game. Well done to all the boys who played and the ones who came and helped out. We are all very proud of your efforts and the presented yourselves on the field.

Oz Tag State Champions

On Tuesday our Senior Boys and Girls both won the state Oz Tag championships held at Casey Fields. Both teams have now been invited to participate at the National Championships in Sydney.

NRL Schoolgirl Cup

Last Friday 31st July, our senior girls Rugby League team travelled to Wagga Wagga NSW for the interstate qualifying game of the NRL Schoolgirl Cup. Without 5 of the starting forward pack from our state final, our girls were brave and gave their all against Erindale College from the ACT. We got within 8 points in the second half but ended up losing 28 - 10.
A special thanks to some of our Netball and AFL girls who filled in for us for this match.

On Monday, our Senior Netball Team travelled to Casey Stadium to compete in the SMR Interschool Netball Competition. The girls progressed through the pool rounds undefeated, recording convincing victories over Alkira, SEDA and Kooweerup.
In the final, they faced a strong Frankston High School side and were defeated 13–26.
Finishing as runners-up in a regional competition is a fantastic achievement, and every player should be incredibly proud of her performance.
The team displayed outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day and represented our school with pride, determination and respect. Congratulations to all the girls on an excellent tournament."

Tiffany Boswell Debut for Dandenong Stingrays

Congratulations to Tiffany Boswell who made her debut on the weekend for the Dandenong Stingrays in their 10 goal win against the Murray Bushrangers.

Here are our 3 Hallam SC boys who have represented Victoria U16s at the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships at Coffs Harbour. The U16s won the John Allen Trophy against the ASSRL Goannas.
