📖✨Poetry Showcase✨📖

This term, our Year 3-6 students have been exploring the wonderful world of poetry. They have been studying, writing and rehearsing a variety of poems, developing their creativity and performance skills along the way.
This Friday, students will proudly present and share their work with our school community. We invite families and friends to join us in celebrating the outstanding effort, imagination, and talent our students have shown throughout the term.

⭐️What a week!⭐️

Last week was a busy and exciting one for our school.

On Wednesday, we joined other local schools at St Teresa's College to celebrate NAIDOC Week. Students enjoyed a fantastic day filled with beading, painting, weaving, cultural dancing from Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal groups, spear and boomerang throwing, meeting Rugby League legends, exploring market stalls, and sampling First Nations foods.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising this wonderful event. It was a fantastic celebration of First Nations culture, community, and connection.

We also participated in the Barnes Cup, where our students demonstrated perseverance, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition. We are incredibly proud of all our students who competed, never gave up, and displayed outstanding sportsmanship.

Their hard work paid off, with some fantastic results: 🏆 2nd Place – Barnes Cup 🏆 3rd Place – Barnes Shield

Congratulations to all our students on their achievements. We couldn't be prouder of your efforts and positive attitude.
