Hi Everyone,
welcome to the new instalment of the Quest for the perfect dojo or the story of 20 ronin finding a home for their practice on Monday night. After our most recent disappointment with what look like the perfect venue but turn out after five minutes to a minefield....We have decided that for the next few months we will go back and train at the Uniting Church hall 3-5 Wetherill Street
Leichhardt NSW 2040. The training will start from 7:45pm (as there is a class finishing at 7:30) and will finish at 9:00PM.
Hope you can join us next monday in our nice cozy Dojo.

Hi Everyone, we will be training tomorrow Monday 23d January from 7:30 to 8:30 pm at the All Souls Anglican Church Hall in Leichhardt which is on Marion Street, almost at the intersection on Norton and Marion street opposite the townhall.
If the assessment of the hall after practice is positive then we will practice here in the future. So come and test the hall and give us your feed back. See you there at 7:15 PM.

Hi Everyone, Monday night Keiko will start next Monday January 16th at a new Venue : Elevate Performing Art 142 Great Northern Road (next to Green Cross Vet) in Five Dock. Doors will open at 7:45 with the goal to start before 8:00PM as we need to finish on the dot at 9:00PM (i.e. be out of the door). This year due to the increase in rental costs we will have to ask everyone to contribute financially. The price is 100$ for 6 months or 5$ per session. If you don't pay you don't play ! You can pay cash or by bank transfer.
Hope to see you next Monday in our new venue.

Hi Everyone, just to let you know that we have booked Martin Hall on 5 Wetherhill Street Leichhardt next to the Town Hall for the next two Mondays (December 5 and 12) from 8:00 to 9:00pm.
If the experience is positive we will rent it into the next year. So come and test it next week Monday 5/12.

Hi Everyone,
we have decided to stop practicing in Five Dock for two reasons: the first one is that the floor is getting too dangerous as demonstrated last week. The second reasons is that the Church will lease the whole building from January to a dance school that will have classes on Monday night and so we won't be able to practice after Xmas.
Taek and I have been looking for alternative venues and we think we hmay have find a replacement in Leichhardt. We will keep you posted as soon as we have signed an agreement.

Dear All, just to let you know that Monday night is back and open to every double-vaxxed Kendo player who is an member of NSWKA or other affiliated Kendo association. Start at 8:00 PM every monday night at St Albans Hall 171 Great Northern Road Five Dock. Look forward to see you next Monday.

Dear Fellow Kendoka, hope you all have been surviving the lockdown allright. In view of the current NSW Government roadmap and because of the nature of the training on Monday night (which classsify our activity more as a community sport than straight fitness), we are planning to start Monday night training once NSW has reached 80% vaccination which is scheduled for October 26th. SO 2 MORE WEEKS TO GO !!
