Gympie Flexible School had a welcomed visitor this afternoon to present us with the Queensland State Flag. Hon Tony Perrett Minister for Primary Industries came for a visit to look at all our young people's projects and achievements.
The Minister enjoyed his tour of the grounds and meeting some of the young people who shared some experiences and pride in our school.
We look forward to another visit in the near future.

Gympie Flexi is ALL IN for Reconciliation Week.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In. It’s about everyone in Australia stepping up and being part of real change, every day.

Being “All In” means you can’t just watch from the sidelines. It’s on all of us to take action and do something that helps.

Reconciliation isn’t something that just happens on its own, and it’s not only up to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Real change will only happen if everyone gets involved.

Today is International day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).
This day marks the anniversary of the World Health Organisation's decision to remove sexuality from the Classification of Diseases in 1990.

Gympie Flexi stands with the LGBTQI+ community in celebration of IDAHOBIT.
